Because we are the best and we stand by our product! We stand by our dogs and training 100%. We are not, however, naive enough to think that everything is perfect every time. It is for this reason that we also have the best guarantee in the business. We have guarantees on health and workability and on the skeletal system. We understand that sometimes teams, for whatever reason, just don’t work out. Let us know, and we will replace your current dog with one that you do mesh with, no questions asked! Canine training is as much an art as it is a science. Being able to train a dog to respond to a person is an individual endeavor. All dogs and handlers have individual personalities and the trick is to influence both behaviors so they respond positively to each other for maximum efficiency! We feel that is what sets us apart from the rest. We work very hard to put you with a partner that fits you and your department’s needs and requirements. We lost a good one!!!! Rest in peace my friend!!!!

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we at VLK learn of the passing of one of the rock stars in the law enforcement K9 world, Brad Smith. Brad spent his entire career making the profession better; teaching and inspiring. You will be missed sir and may your legacy carry on.

From Ken: This one sucks. Brad is one of the originals and we spent many years talking dogs, which is just where he wanted to be. A great teacher, trainer, mentor to so many police officers and most importantly, a true friend.

It is with a profound heavy heart that the Vohne Liche Kennels family prays for and hopes for the best for one of our family members. Officer Seara Burton, Richmond IN Police officer and an April 2022 VLK graduate was shot in the line of duty last night. She is fighting for her life. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family and the RPD.
