Juneteenth 2024

Our commitment to combating systemic racism and racial violence is ongoing, and we invite our community to join us in this crucial fight.
On June 19, we celebrate Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day or Emancipation Day. This day marks the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States.

Did You Know About How We Capture Rainwater?
πOur rainwater collection system and cistern mean that every time those clouds roll in and the rain starts to fall, we're harnessing that precious water and putting it to good use! Instead of letting it go to waste, we're using it to keep our gardens lush and green, ensuring a tranquil and eco-friendly environment for your pets to enjoy while they're with us.π§π¦π±
It is our goal to get pets home to their families and some cases present a lot of challenges. Johnny came to us after complications following surgery at another hospital. His wound became severely infected and he had other difficulties along the way. Johnny, his family, and our medical team fought very hard for 19 days to get to today...Johnny's homecoming day. He was treated by surgery, emergency, rehabilitation, the ward, and our imaging team. So, we had to stage a little celebration before he left.
He'll be visiting us daily for the foreseeable future as we assist with bandage changes and wound management.
Wishing you and your furry friends a healthy and joyful year ahead. Thank you for trusting us with their care. Here's to a year filled with wagging tails, purrs, and healthy check-ups!
