Waiting on some forms so I thought I would play with something different for the day.

When capping a trophy, considering that neck sizes vary in every buck and that the FORMS differ in size regarding shoulder depth and width. Make sure to leave plenty of cap. (more is better)

First batch of forms have arrived, now to get them prepped and ready to mount.

A freshly tanned cap and tried a stronger whiting agent to refurbish a few older European mounts that had turned yellowish over the years. Looks like it will work good on the last batch of Euro's and will also be starting shoulder mounts next week starting with a mule deer.

Finally my regular job is done for awhile. Now to get started on my hobby for the next few months. Hope to have everyone's done by Spring as long as the work phone doesn't ring.🤞🤞🤞

Had to lengthen the rack, 2 more weeks of work, then I can start my winter hobby. Thank you everyone that brought their trophy in for a Shoulder mount or a European mount.
