Ill Client or Household Illness

Cold and flu season is among us and that means the germs are spreading! With me being pregnant and having a new groomer on the team, it is important to keep us healthy so we can keep your dogs taken care of as well.

If you or someone in your household is ill, you are required to cancel 24 hours prior to your appointment. Notice given less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time will result in a full charge for the entire grooming service due to late cancellation. No exceptions. We will happily reschedule your appointment for you as soon as possible. We understand that it can be a bit of an inconvenience having to reschedule your appointment. We ask that you please try to understand that we are protecting ourselves, our clients and our income by staying safe and healthy.

EXPECTO PREGNANTO!🪄✨️ Patrick and I are happy to announce we've got a Bun in the Coven! 🧙‍♂️🧙🏻‍♀️🤰👶A new baby Samson is due April 17th, 2025. Our parents and grandparents couldn't be happier! It's been quite a whirlwind of emotions and stress getting prepared, but we've been getting more and more excited to soon meet this little Bun!

The adventure to Shaumburg for the All American Grooming Show last week was a blast and surely created times to remember. I did a Salon Owner cert class, met a few celebrity groomers, bought new grooming gear, and learned so much! Jonathan David, as a new groomer, was doing in home grooming in Manhattan as I am doing here in Wisconsin today. I found that to be just too cool, so I got to talk to him about it. I met Jay Scruggs and Sue Zecco in person! I've taken classes from them as well, so it was lovely to meet them too. Not gonna lie, I was a total fan girl for these celeb groomers!! I took a course with Joey Villani, who owns several salons and has been grooming for years. The man is a vat of knowledge! The whole show I felt like a kid in a candy store. I can't decide if I want to do Superzoo next year or do All American Grooming show again! This was a great experience.

What happens with super matted doodle tails??? They get shaved. This doods tail was matted all the way around so I shaved and rolled until the matted mess came off in one piece. Time to start fresh :)now he's a happy boy ready to take on the world!

CAUTION TO EVERYONE! In case you all haven't started your clear and tick prevention, it's time. Ticks have been out for a month already and it has been thick! Even with this Wisconsin snow, I assure you, they'll survive to find their way to live another day. Reminder, the heavy chemical flea and tick meds you give your dogs isn't here to keep them from the diseases fleas and ticks carry carry...just from reproducing!
