Happy News! The 2nd Phase of Reconstruction is finally complete!

West Baraboo Pavement markings were painted this morning! All of West Baraboo and the side roads Mulberry, Walnut, Connie, Cedar, Willow and Hill are open. On Highway 33 there will be soft close at Hill Street. This is for local Access to Prevail Bank, Westwood Park, Domino's, Jimmy John, AT&T and the homes along this section. There will be a hard closer just east of the Domino's/Jimmy Johns driveway.

As long as there are no delays on Monday, June 24th construction is expected to start in our 3rd phase segment from the eastern limit of Jimmy John’s / Domino’s driveway all the way to West Street. A-1 Excavating will need to go to West Street as this is the lower end of the sanitary sewer. Highway 33 will be completely closed just east of the Domino’s/ Jimmy Johns Driveway through West Street. In the beginning Draper, Summit, and West Streets will be closed. Park, Wood, and Center Streets will be open for cross traffic. Once they get through West Street they will open up from cross traffic and close Wood and Center streets for underground work.

The segment east of Domino's/Jimmy Johns driveway to Park St will be finished before school starts in the fall. The eastern limits of Park St - the eastern limits of Broadway St is still expected to be completed in November.

This female standard poodle is up for adoption at the Sauk County Humane society. She is so special and hung out with us today from 12-4 while getting a bath and haircut. She was soo well behaved and is so sweet. She has manners and would love to go for a walk, cuddle or could probably be an office dog. She is an old soul but only 11 months. If my own circumstances were different she would have came home with me. ❤️

🚧Good Morning, The update for construction of Lynn Street 2/29: Willow/Hill Streets intersection remains open, but there will be one lane access to Westwood Park from Willow/Hill Streets today. We ask our clients to park on the north/south Berkeley Blvd for there is 2 hour parking on the east side of the street. Walk your dogs to our front door and remember use a leash for the safety of your pet crossing the road. 🚧 Reminder parking on the private drive between our parking lot and the condos is not permitted and is for apartment residences only. 🚧

There is a cross over at Hill St. and Willow St. which is open to access Lynn St.(8th) where you will be able to turn and come to Westwood park businesses. Berkeley street which runs behind Messy Mutts and the High School will be fixing a water pipe replacement today. The temporary access road that will be put in between Dominos and the Condo building coming off of Berkley will be starting as soon as the water pipe is fixed. Have a safe commute today! 🚧🚧🚧

🥳BIG NEWS🥳
Potholes will soon disappear on 8th street in front of Westwood park condo association entrance! The construction will begin this coming Monday Feb 26th until mid June. Fingers crossed it all goes safely and quickly. 🤞

How do you drop your dog off if 8th street is closed?🥴

Construction crews will be putting in a temporary road access between Westwood park and Dominos parking lots once this is done it will allow you to come from Berkley( the road behind Messy Mutts) to 8th st and turn into Westwood park condo parking lot. I am unsure when this would be finished. Hopefully, soon!

It is being discussed that there could be one hour parking on Berkley. If so as ALWAYS please have your dog on a leash for their safety and yours. There will be extra traffic on Berkley especially during school zone times. Please continue to use our front door entrance for safety.

Please have patience with us as well during this time. We will be trying to accommodate clients and helping them transport their dogs to and from the car/building if they need.

Allow extra time for navigating through town so that you can make your scheduled appointment.

We will be doing text/ call reminders as normal. We hope we can help you out by providing the best way for drop off/ pick up situations as we go through this changing situation.

Earlier this week Sven came in to get a bath with his handler Deputy Troth. He is one of three Sauk County K-9s. All K-9s are 100% funded on donations. If you would be interested in donating to these working dogs contact the Sauk County Sheriffs Department.

It’s a beautiful day to brush Oliver outside. He is such a sweet, fun dog and look at the stride!

Not everyday can I just play with puppies. But today I am!

Opie is so excited because he doesn't know it's finally his turn to get in the tub 😂

In this final video I can show you that the finished coat you can run a comb through. If you look back to the original picture of when brogan came in there is no way you could run a comb through his coat. Dogs will still shed, but he it going to be so much more comfortable.❤️🐾

After a dog is dry they are brushed out. There isn't just one tool to use. In this video I am using a zoom groom rubber curry.

After the bath I put the dogs on my table and blow dry them. Not only is it a huge time saver in drying a dog but it also allows me to look at a dogs skin. If you search your dog for ticks and can't find any this dryer will. I can also spot any skin irritations or lumps just by drying a dog. This dryer has an adjustable volume level so I can start slow and get a dog used to it and eventually turn it up. If dogs do not care for this they can relax in a kennel with a dryer on them that blows room temperature air. Most dogs tolerate there body's and legs being dry and it's easier and less stressful to dry there faces in the kennels.

Brogan getting a bath, I have a Save UR fur bathing system with an adjustable nozzle. For the dogs that have lots of undercoat it helps push the dead hair out. The bathing system is a huge time saver as well. It allows for a water, air and shampoo mixture to come out and start cleaning the dogs skin right away. Verses getting the dog wet, then applying, the rinsing. With the flip of a switch I can go from shampooing so rinsing.
