Another fox photo.
Ya'll might be getting tired of seeing them.
But it is what it is.
I really have a HUGE spot in my heart for this guy. He is so very special. It pains me that he roams into dangerous areas. This evening I came across him almost a mile away from home, very close to a busy street.
But what can I do?
When I raised him I made sure to keep the "wild" in him. So he has to roam, and hunt, and have families. The average life span of a fox is four years. This is year one for my guy. If I could, I would take him inside, provide him with shelter and warmth and kindness for many years to come. But I was born and raised around wildlife. And I know better. There comes a time when you have to draw the line.
So I will enjoy his presence as long as I can.
And share his presence with the rest of you.

MEDICATION QUESTION: Natsumi might have a respiratory infection, I already have a vet appointment for tomorrow. Are there any meds that are a no-go for foxes?

Long version:
I brought Natsumi in this morning, he was his normal self while outside, but shortly after he came in he stretched out on one of his beds that I have on a shelf and went to sleep. A chunk of time went past, where I noted that he was sleeping more than usual, I thought he was just really enjoying being in the AC again. Went to bother him, and noticed his nose was a little runny with a bit of red (blood) mixed in. Queue panic attack of checking him over, googling, calling the vet, and now just in general panic mode.

Hi all I have just joined I would like you to meet trixie..she comes everyday to the bottom of my garden .where there is a six foot metal fence..which is a wood where she lives..she brings her timid cubs..she is not afraid..but will not let you to close...she often sleeps at the fence I luv her she is part of my family now..I stress when I don't see her
