Opportunity Alert!

Many people have inquired about Puddles. She is gorgeous, we can see why! Many people label Great Dane's as gentle giants, and she is, mostly.

Puddles has spent approximately 11 weeks working on her prey drive and social bullying. She has come so far! Is she fully trained? No. That all depends on you! We've spent time, money, and energy making this girl into a better dog, one different from her terrible past. At barely out of puppy hood, she still needs time, training, consistency and proper socialization. She comes with FREE training through Rosie Dane Dog Training. All you have to do is be committed. Once she has gotten to know and trust you, she will not only be well behaved, but also cover you in sloppy Great Dane kisses!

Puddles is a sweet, big, calm, and gently dispositioned girl. She is around 1 1/2 years old. She’s had it rough – being underfed and abandoned when she was young, then taken for granted and tossed aside during her adolescence. Instinctively she can fear new situations, understandably so with such a start to life. Though she is sometimes intimidated by big men at first, when she warms up, she absolutely melts hearts.
She has been trained thoroughly to cope with a wide range of stimuli and scenarios, but as with any training, her new home needs to know how to communicate with her. Just because she’s been trained to a high level doesn’t mean anyone can tell her what to do and she’ll mindlessly oblige! Puddles is a smart enough girl to know that there are those who have earned the right to use her training and there are those who haven’t. Fortunately, if you’re interested in giving this Dane the life she deserves, you’ll get a free 10 week group course, or 4 private lessons, with those who know her training language inside and out so that you can earn the right to call her “yours”
Puddles knows how to perform the following exercises on or off leash in any environment in which it's permissible to take a dog:
Heeling: loose-leash walking "at Heel"
Sit Stay: to wait patiently for your return
Down Stay: to wait patiently for longer periods
Stand For Examination: to stand still for strangers to pet, groomers to groom, or veterinarians to vet, not to mention everyday grooming needs.
Recall: Coming when called.
These exercises conform to the AKC Companion Dog standards. In addition to these formal, measurable exercises executed at a high level, you'll also be instructed on good manners, household "pack management", and problem solving tactics.
It's a course for both you and your dog, where we teach them right from wrong and instill good character traits in the context of classic obedience. It's not about the Sit, Down, or Stay, it's about what the dog learns through the process of being taught; self control, attentiveness, patience, discipline, confidence, submissiveness, etc. It's those traits that we're after when we train a dog.
Puddles would love a comfy couch to curl up on and a loving lap to lay her head. She only needs a couple long walks a week and loves to sleep. As a rule, if your dogs aren’t under control and respectful, you probably shouldn’t add Puddles to your pack. The many expressions of Sunnie! 😂🐾🐕😍

Sunnie went from being abandoned and tied to our tree to now looking for a forever home. Sunnie recently went to the vet and got checked out, and all is well! She is getting spayed soon, but we are taking applications. She seems to like dogs, but we are doing slow introductions! Sunnie is young; the vet estimated is about 1 1/2. She knows a few commands but also has puppy energy, so she'll need an active family. She would thrive in training, as she just wants to please you!

Beware, though; she is a heavy shedder! So, if that's not something you can handle, Sunnie isn't the one for you!

Meet the most adorable River Monsters you will ever meet:

Isla (female)
Hudson (male)
Nile (male)
Rio (male)
Delta (female)

These babies are far from monsters, but a monster dumped these babies at a river. A good Samaritan saw them on their way home from work, called Animal Control and took them there.They were wet little messes and fresh off the river bank. The grown man was so upset about someone doing that and thanked Animal Control a million times for staying late. This was the 2nd litter in one day, dumped at a river! We knew they needed our help!

They are in a foster at Chihuahua Ranch at Cedar Grove and will be available real soon!

We did swab one of them with a Wisdom Panel DNA kit, so get your guesses in!

They are about 6 weeks old and about 5 lbs!
