On Friday evening, Apr 30 at 6:30PM, we will have the official burning of the brush pile in the small dog section. Pull up a chair, bring your own beverage of choice, and enjoy the bonfire. Not all pets are fire friendly so use caution while it is burning and be very sensitive to the hot ashes on the morning after. Rain date for the burn will be Sunday afternoon.
On Sunday, May 2 at 1:00PM, the dog park is sponsoring a curbside clean up, extending from McDonald;s to Heaven Hill and back. We welcome volunteers who are able to walk street side and help us meet our goals. Tootise will be riding in one car to flag traffic and we need one more volunteer to drive the other car on the end. Lunch and drinks will be provided at the dog park at 1PM. In return for your efforts, the Dog Park will be given a $500 donation that will be put towards the upkeep of the Park. If you are able to volunteer your time, either comment here, or contact Wilma Sorrell, or just meet us at the park at 1PM on Sunday,
On Tuesday May 4th, at 5:30PM, there will be a meeting held for all dog park members just inside the main gate of the Park. This will be your opportunity to hear about future upkeep and it is your chance to express any concerns or ask any questions regarding our Dog Park
Hope to see you at some of these events, if not all of them. As always, we thank you for your cooperation in keeping our dog park a safe and welcoming place for all our furry friends.
