WE ARE RETURNING TO IN-PERSON VISITS BEGINNING AUGUST 2ND!
We are excited to open our doors for in-person visits. We will continue to follow CDC guidelines and screen for Covid-19 symptoms and exposure prior to all visits. Please do not come to the hospital if you are currently sick or have been exposed to someone who has Covid-19.
Please keep the following in mind for your visit and remember to wear a mask.
APPOINTMENTS:
• When you arrive in the parking lot, please continue to call the office (860-379-0701) to check-in.
• During check-in, you will be asked if you would like to continue with curbside service or enter the building.
• If you would like to continue curbside service, we will take your pet inside the hospital while you wait in the car. The Dr. will examine your pet and call you to discuss the appointment. Your pet will be returned to you at your car.
• If you would like to accompany your pet into the hospital, one (1) person will be permitted inside.
• Please wait in your car until we let you know that we are ready for your appointment. Clients and their pet(s) will be escorted from the front door directly to the exam room.
• Everyone will be asked to wear a face mask and maintain social distancing while in the building.
• We will not have clients congregating in the waiting room at this time.
MEDICATION AND FOOD PICK UP:
Please call the office when you arrive in our parking lot and our receptionist will come out to you.
If you have any questions before your next visit, don't hesitate to reach out to us. We thank you for your cooperation and patience and are looking forward to seeing you and your pet(s)
HAPPY FIRST DAY OF SPRING!
Each year we try to celebrate by taking time to go outside all together and enjoy the sunshine while blowing bubbles.
Oh no! Harley got into chocolate; luckily her owners got her in to see us quickly. As you can see she is doing just fine😀
Today we were fortunate to have a group of students from Northwestern Regional #7's Agricultural program observe Dr. Laczak! The students were able to watch a surgical procedure and then Dr. Laczak was able to answer some questions and even show some interesting x-rays!! Thank you to Mia Haaland their teacher, we can't wait for the second group next week!!
HANSEL & GRETEL
Hansel and Gretel came here about a year ago and are ready for their forever home! They are about 4 years old, neutered/spayed, Felv/FIV negative, and up to date on vaccines.
Hansel is a sweet, goofy boy who takes a little while to warm up to you, but once he does he loves being petted, playing, and curling up in inappropriately small places (like in baskets or in the closet)!
Gretel chooses whom she likes, not the other way around; and even then can be a little moody. If you are one of the lucky ones you will be rewarded with a best new friend. We would prefer they remain indoor kitties and might do well with a cat-friendly dog, but Gretel DOES NOT like cats other than Hansel.
We would prefer to adopt them out together, but would consider separating them for the right homes. Both cats would need an adjustment period and a patient owner, as they have been here for some time. Please contact the WINSTED HOSPITAL FOR ANIMALS to meet us today.
