This is how most officers I know act and react.

Down in Kissimmee, Florida, a dog was spotted lying on the side of the road. She had been hit by a car. Osceola County deputy Josh Fiorelli was passing by when he saw the motionless pup, who was alive but was so injured that she couldn't move. Josh was heartbroken that such a thing happened. So he called for help then sat down beside the white dog and started petting her. Some dogs might get defensive when they're hurt, but not this one. She seemed to appreciate the officer being there for her. Josh then put his jacket over the dog to keep her warm, as the day was chilly and she was wet. Says Josh: “She didn't have anyone there, so I decided to be that person.” The dog was soon treated for a dislocated leg. Carlos Irizzary was walking his own dog when he came across Josh helping the injured dog, so he snapped a photo and posted it online. It went viral, and it was shared by several news outlets throughout the country. The Osceola County Sheriff's Office also posted the photo on its website, saying: “...Thank you Deputy Fiorelli for serving with care and compassion.” ❤

This was a very tough decision to make to have the two girls fixed. No more puppies for them They are 5 years old.
They were at the vets on Tuesday for a couple hours came home last night and we're just troopers. They felt a little nauseous from the anesthesia and car ride. This morning they're doing a little bit better still laying down but not as groggy

We have to count our blessings when they perform the surgery on Amber she was starting to develop pyometra which is an infection and dogs that can lead to death.
This comes from females not being fixed that has not had multiple pregnancies. Amber only had one litter while Mabel had multiple.

Please keep Mabel and Amber in your prayers that they have a speedy recovery.
