My Papa, Reefas Watson “Jim” Harris, my best friend, biggest supporter and confidant passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus Saturday January 20th. Papa loved the Lord, his family, his colleagues, his farm and his community. He lived out his golden years doing the things he loved the most and spent his days always surrounded by his family, nature and with his companion Mrs Lottie Ellis by his side.
Our family will be holding his funeral in Roswell, GA on Friday where he will be laid to rest beside his wife, my Mimi, Arleen Harris who passed in 2010. They were married for 58 years. For those that can’t make his funeral, our family will be holding a memorial visitation at his church on Sunday at 2 pm. All friends are invited to come and visit our family to share your condolences at that time.

🚨 Rental Home Finished Interior Reveal🚨
We’ve finally reached the end of the interior remodel on this job! This home was the epitome of “hard living” and was a complete gut!
We ripped out carpet, flooring, patched drywall, replaced toilets, accented the ceiling with tin, demoed existing closets to allow more living space, replaced deteriorated master bath with new vanity and custom shower, replaced plumbing, installed new kitchen cabinets, demoed kitchen island, installed Pepper Creek mill wood in entire home for flooring and shiplapped walls and accents, stained the floors and painted the ceilings and walls plus many more small projects. Like I said, complete gut!

Our final wood cost for this project :
Flooring $ 1100
Walls and trim $ 650

Our wood completely changed the look and feel of this home! A complete rags to riches remodel done from wall to wall and floor to ceiling for less than $4k!

This remodel is a prime example of turning trash into treasure! We are finally in the home stretch and see the light at the end of the tunnel. A project we anticipated only taking a few weeks was stretched out due to this home having so many unforeseen issues and making time to fit in as many customer orders as possible. 🚨Rental Home Update🚨
A little late with y’all an update but as you’ll see in this video, we’ve had a lot of dirty work to get done. 2 dump trailer loads and counting to the landfill and a good bit of demolition later and we’re finally restoring this home. The rental home world is unfortunately a risky business but I want you to see that as bad as this units condition had gotten, our sawmill wood will transform this place for a fraction of the cost! Keep your eyes peeled for photos of the restoration process. This place is going to go from dumpster to castle in 2 weeks!

We’ve been busy!

In the midst of filling orders, one of our rental houses was vacated and that means we had to pause to do some demo and remodeling. The wood we cut at Pepper Creek Sawmill really has an unending list of uses and I want you to watch this home transform! We will be completely gutting this home and reinforcing floors, shiplapping walls, installing wood flooring, doing wood trim, framing and a few more projects.
