After living ten years in Boston, I returned to my home state of Vermont to be closer to family. This new phase brought a lot of changes: finding a new job, moving into a new house, and finding my soulmate, a Sheltie named Lyla. Lyla was a wonderful companion and helped me through this transitional period. Unfortunately, due to some health complications, I lost her at 10 months. It was a devastating loss for me, but it inspired me to do some soul searching. I knew I wanted to work with animals and dedicate my life to something that fulfilled my passions. I realized grooming was where I had to be, and I wanted to jump right in. I was lucky enough to have an opportunity to learn from one of the state’s best groomers, through an intensive training program. I realized even within the first week of school that I had made the right decision, and everything started to fall into place. I had truly found my purpose! My love and connection with animals is becoming deeper than it’s ever been; I am genuinely passionate about caring for the pets I groom and look forward to meeting you and your furry family members. I’m proud and fortunate to bring SpawDay & Boutique, a family-run business, to Central Vermont!
