Oh Kimber! Living, breathing, fur eating proof of why they are nicknamed German shedders !
Molly
Miss Molly was a little nervous about having her face dried but with having the blower a little farther away and ruffling her hair we were able to get her all nice and dry!
Molly
As most of you know my shop is set up at my parents. They have two fantastic fenced in areas for their dogs.
Miss Molly did so well we had some extra time to let her run around and burn off some puppy energy!
Ember’s 1st groom!
Ember came to see me today for her 1st of many grooms.
My biggest goal is the make their 1st experience a good one.
It is important to go at the pace that the pup is comfortable with and being able to accept that the groom might not be the best or even be able to finish.
Here’s a video of how I work with Ember to get her used to the sound of the clippers and what they feel like.
I am happy to say that Ember’s 1st groom was a success!
I am very excited to announce that as of June 1st I will be going fulltime!
Everyone meet Ricker! Ricker is a petco reject. They said they could not cut his nails safely so they said he couldn’t come back. I am not throwing hate at petco! They do a lot of good work with unfortunately a lot of restrictions and policies to follow they have to turn away a lot of dogs due to behavior. Ricker now has no issues with his nails!
Nails!
Most of my clients are afraid to cut their pups nails. And that’s OK! I was to before I started grooming so I completely understand.
Here is Mr. Skye. As you can see nails are not his favorite. But with some emotional support and a few kisses we made it!
Nails are extremely important! So don’t forget you can always bring your pups in for just a nail cut and not their entire grooming session!
