This sweet boy is a little nervous so he's hanging out at the flowershop next door to try and meet his people! 6 years old with so much love to give!

Smudge is looking for a home calm - no dogs or small children. He doesn't mind other cats or older kids and LOVES to just sit beside you for hours on end!
The weather was warm enough where we thought our little lady might enjoy some outside time! She seemed to like watching the world go by in the sun ❤️❤️❤️
When you're feeling a bit more spry than usual and that predator instinct kicks in! We're working on getting Alphie's strength up and it looks like it's starting to pay off! Just look at the light in this little girls eyes!

Just another sign that there is a happy little kitty buried under all this scruffy fur! Alphie caught a little sniff of catnip and seemed to enjoy it immensely!
She doesn't go far, but Alphie has started taking little walks around the house and store! Those wobbly legs get stronger every day and while we sometimes have to go looking for her when she does it without notice, we don't mind a little hide and seek if it means progress!

This big development might count as TMI but we have never been so excited about a cat using the litter box!! Alphie is still extra wobbly, but she not only needing to go to the bathroom, but even looms for the box on her own!
This is a huge deal as it means she has enough water and food in her to need to remove it from her body again! We're so excited go see her activity increase - even if it's a little personal - and can't wait to see this turn into some weight gain in the future!

While we still haven't upgraded to solids, Alphie continues to be a gravy fiend! Of course, only when it's not the same gravy twice in a row...and only if you rotate the dish...and only when it's fresh from the can!
Easy to say, this girl is loved and spoiled! Watching her progress is truly amazing and we can't thank you all enough for all the love she receives from all over!

Major Alphie update!!
This little lady decided she wanted to try eating all by herself! Right now, it's only gravy off the top but this is a major change from the girl who saw food and felt nothing but nausea!
We aren't out of the woods by any means, but being able to feel hunger and want to eat again is the next step toward gaining weight!
So now we're off to buy as many gravy rich and easy to chew wet foods as we can!

A rainy day calls for some sunshine! We spent the other day chasing sunbeam in the house to see if we might solar charge our little Alphie into feeling better! I think it might have done the trick ☀️

Another big step forward for Alphie today! After a week of supplying water via IV, she has made the jump to drinking water without our help!
We'll continue to supplement as needed to keep her hydrated but knowing that she has the strength to go to water without our prompting is a wonderful development!
Hopefully we can continue to bring you a happy update each day as it seems Alphie is willing to try and make a go of it!

Your daily Alphie update! We get a bit more alert and responsive each day and all the little things are adding up! She's started responding to us when we come into her room and shows that she's happy to see us with quiet purrs and little tail twitches!
We're still fighting back against the anemia and trying to get her temperature to regulate on its own, but for now she's all about her heated blanket and hourly feedings!

Some antibiotics and a little pain medication have started sweet Tango on the road to recovery! He's pretty banged up and his infection is going to be tough to get rid of, but we have so much hope for this happy boy!
