D & T Country Stay; Boarding & Grooming

D & T Country Stay is named after the 2 Labrador Retrievers that we had in 2004. Since the we have had to suddenly say good bye to our "T"ucker who was a Black Lab and "D"rake, a Choc Lab, who has also crossed the rainbow bridge. I went to Tech School to be a Veterinary Technician and worked in a clinic for many years until I decided to start up a boarding and grooming place from home. We are a s

mall facility with 14 runs, 8 are 4x6 and 6 are 4x8 runs inside. We have heat for the cooler Minnesota weather and Central Air for the warm Minnesota summers. We have a large fenced in area in which the dogs are let out into for potty breaks and exercise. The dogs are let outside about every 2-3 hours through out the day. We have raised Kuranda dog beds in each run for the dogs to lay on. You are asked to bring your pets own food from home in hopes that your pet doesn't have any upset tummy issues while here or once they go home. We also ask that if your pet is on any medication that you bring that along with your pet so we can continue to keep your pets health a priority. You may bring your pets own blanket or dog bed from home along with any other items like toys, treats and dishes if you think that will help your pet. We also carry a variety of very high quality pet foods that you can purchase for you beloved family member. We currently carry Fromm, Farmina N &D, Answers raw and Primal raw. It is best to make a boarding reservation as soon as you know that you plan to be away from home to insure your pet has a safe place to stay while you are gone. We also provide grooming serves from a simple Toe Nail Trim all the way up to a full grooming. These services need to be scheduled in advance and we are usually booked out at least 4 weeks in advance if not more. We also can schedule your pets next appointment when you pick them up after their grooming is complete, we recommend a schedule of 4-8 weeks for most dogs.
