With this warmer weather the puppies have discovered they can go outside! We explored just outside the kennel this evening. Got a better introduction to the cats. I have found our last remaining chicken makes his way into the kennel with the puppies. With their curiosity growing he won't be able to hang out with them much longer😆😜 Sorry no pictures of Albert( the chicken) with the puppies my instinct is always to chase him out of my way first🤦 maybe next time.

What is better than kids giggling? Them giggling with puppies!!!

We were out for a short walk before heading to the vet. One male has a tiny umbilical hernia. The vet figures it could close on its own and thought there might be a chance its just an umbilical knot. It is something to watch as he should be neutered and if need be have the hernia repaired at that time. All the others got a clean bill of health. They were so relaxed and calm at the clinic a few of the vet techs wanted to take them home😜😍

I was getting dizzy taking this video. The puppies are beginning to go potty outside!!!!

The puppies are getting curious and starting to wonder where Eagle goes when not with them.

Our story

I grew up raising Golden Retrievers with my much older siblings dogs. I was to late to keep a puppy from the last family golden. So Crossfire- Retrievers began with the purchase of Firesides Crossfire "Shooter" in 2006- 2018. Shooter has gone everywhere with me from family camping, following a day long trail ride, to a week sight seeing in Colorado. She has been the best companion a young woman could ask for. Since than I have gotten married, had a few kids and kept one of Shooters pups, Crossfires "Rigby" Ma**er. Both dogs have proven great teaches for my kids. Showing them unconditional love, patience and affection. They are quiet in the house never interrupting nap time. Both love to hunt upland and waterfowl. You can always tell when they catch the sent of a bird by their wagging tail and how focused they become.

Crossfires Rigby Ma**er carries some GREAT bloodlines in her background. She is grand-daughter to DK.BR.CH Clockburn Clooneen ( X SR Old Oak’s Redhot Chili Pepper CD MH NA NAJ WCX***. Also grand-daughter to Can. Triple CH FTCH AFTCH OTCH Firemark’s Push Comes to Shove Can. WCX Am.***OS. This pedigree goes back to Bro and Mr Speaker. Rigby has clear genetic testing for PRA1 and Ichthyosis. OFA results for hips are good, eyes and elbows are normal.

Crossfires C**t Eagle has recently joined the breeding program, 2018. She out of Beck’s Princess Belle of floden (FTCH AFTCH Heads Up Tracks in the Taiga MH QA2 WCX***OS Can WCI JFTR QFTR) X FC Thistle Rocks Red Ike MH QA2 WCX. This pedigree is full of proven trainable/champion dogs. Eagle is cleared by parentage of prcd-PRA, PRA1, PRA2 and cleared of Ichthyosis. Further genetic tests will be completed before breeding. I will continue to screen prospective studs for clear genetics and to lower the coefficiant of inbreeding.
