He is a most beloved “Smart K9” that was went through the lifetime training program. You can use the search bar to see his story when he was with us. He is so easy to fall in love with!

Unfortunatley, his temperament wasn’t the best fit for his family. He is now looking for someone that will dedicate the time into training to build a relationship with this guy.

With the proper guidance and leadership, this dog will be someone’s most loyal companion. He is fiercely loyal, smart, and needs someone to employ his intelligence to counteract his sensitivity and moments of anxiety.

Moose is getting better at containing his reactions and responding to commands more readily every day. He is not one to give respect immediately or easily and his favorite mode of resistance is selective hearing 😅 🙉. Some polishing and repetition is going to make his obedience solid and reliable, and soon enough he will be trusted off leash.

When and I interviewed for The Alternative Dog Moms, Dr. Royal shared a story that brought this meme to mind.

I couldn't find it, so I recreated it.

I love talking to traditional vets who don't support raw. It's interesting to get their perspective while sharing my own.

I know it can be frustrating, and not all vets are open to this discussion. But when we can, we should try because we all love dogs.

I've changed the mind of every traditional vet I've worked with - they're not recommending fresh food, but they support my choice to feed raw, and that's a step.
