Hello Friends!
Just a reminder...
If your dog is "dog selective" or picky about their playmates, and they tend to bully or aggressively target other dogs when you come to the dog park, please leash your dog and leave the dog park. We have had reports of certain dogs doing this and the owners not handling the situation as necessary.
Also, just a reminder, if your dog bites another dog, you MUST exchange information with the other dog's owner and report it to Animal Control. Per Rhode Island law, you will be responsible for any vet bills incurred due to your dog biting another dog (or person).
Thank you for your understanding in this matter. We all want a safe and fun place for our dogs to play.

Park & Rec meeting this Thursday at 7pm in the Peck Center.
If you support your dog park, show up and let them know your feelings.

I will be speaking about the supposed permanence of the temporary dog park,the Town's takeover of the original dog park for field use and the suggestion of an added $2 fee to be added to the dog license fee to support the dog park.

Hello Friends!

I am looking for some help with fundraising ideas. Please message me if you have any experience with food truck events, hitting up local business sponsors, etc. I want to get the dog park patrons more involved in the dog park and make it a place that everyone enjoys. We need to up our game and start doing some fun stuff that benefits the park.

Hey Friends.
Thanks to everyone who has donated towards the temporary fence Go Fund Me. We are only 25% of the way there. I am thinking we need to do a fundraiser event, or two. Does anyone know how to hold fundraising events? Maybe a food truck event, or a family fun day with vendors? I am open to any and all help on this.
