Join us for a live stream of the Midwest Chapter Parkinson's Symposium! This program offers information on managing Parkinson's disease (PD), including common medications, their benefits, side effects, and necessary adjustments. It also highlights the importance of a comprehensive care plan that includes exercise and social engagement to reduce isolation, ultimately improving life quality for those with PD.

Therapy dog Sully, at Hough Street School, always kicks off our monthly “Read with Me,” a Pet Partners literacy program where the students read to (and visit with) our therapy dogs at all of the Barrington 220 School District elementary schools. ♥️🐶🐾 Yay Sully!

Today was hoof-i-cure day (aka farrier trims!) for our minis by our incredible farrier Jackie JB Hoof Care. She truly is THE best. 💜 Their hooves have to look pretty before the Chicago St. Patrick's Day Parade on Saturday! ☘️ Thanks to our team that came out to help. After trimming (and some grooming) they all got to play out in the big pasture. Life is good for our herd!

Happy birthday to our volunteer Pam, pictured here with her sweet Ollie who crossed the rainbow bridge last year. 🌈 They were a wonderful therapy dog team with us…and now she has a new pup named Manny! They are in training and we look forward to them joining us in the future!

Today we honored the life of veteran Eric Mullally, a former Navy corpsman, current nursing student, beloved son of our SOUL volunteers/friends Amy & Pete, brother to Brian, loved by so many. 🇺🇸 We had SO much love & support from our SOUL family at Davenport Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, with therapy dogs Beau, Honey, Banjo, Izzy, Sully, Addie and Zoey, therapy cat Johnny and mini therapy horses Lunar (registered Pet Partners team with Amy) and Sunshine (registered PP team with Pete). We wrap our arms around Pete & Amy while their hearts are broken, sharing the unconditional love and healing of our animals and one another. 🇺🇸
