Hope everyone had a great week and is ready to tackle this one coming up. We sure did a lot, w/ visiting Sedgebrook with registered therapy horses and dogs Grace, Unique, Beau, Grady, Honey, Sedona and Zoey. Our big old man of the barn Garth celebrated his 26th bday and our piano playing pigs Peaches and Pickles turned 3. Registered therapy horse Cinderbella visited at Rush University Medical Center and wowed everyone there. SOUL Buddies trained at the ranch in our Foglia Family Training Center and Jodie, Claire and Anne attended the annual scholarship dinner with the Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce that evening. Perfect ending to the week with our annual volunteer lunch celebrating our accomplishments of 2024 and what is coming up in 2025. We thank you! Without you we could not have done 403 visits last year with over 9000 volunteers hours logged. Have a great week everyone!

Thank you to Kohl Children's Museum for inviting us to collaborate with their “Play Attention” program, helping veterans and military families enjoy a day of play AND visits with our registered Pet Partners therapy horses Sunshine & Unique and therapy dog Sully. 🐴🐶🇺🇸 Kohl, Kids Rank and Blue Star Families joined us at the ranch during the summer for our SOUL Veterans program and we saw many families today! We look forward to joint partnering with veterans and their families 💙

Today we celebrated our volunteers with our annual get together at beautiful Trout Valley Lodge. We came together to to talk about what we have accomplished, what we are looking forward to and just being together. Thank you to all our volunteers

Sending Happy Birthday wishes to our Pet Partners registered handler Michelle Thimios! She and her dog Banjo, a Pyrenees mix, are always a hit at our many visits 🐶🐾♥️ You will see them regularly at the Crystal Lake Public Library, at the summer Walk with Me, at exam relief visits, and so many more!

Happy Birthday to our wonderful volunteer Laura Mandell! She and her sweet Pet Partners therapy dog Taylor bring so much love and joy to everyone they meet. They have been a regular team at JourneyCare Hospice, at North Barrington Elementary School for the “Read with Me” program and so many other visits! She is also the daughter of our wonderful SOUL Veteran and WWII survivor Bob Lick! 🐶🐾♥️

Our “Black Beauty” Pet Partners mini therapy horse CinderBella captured everyone’s hearts today as she visited patients and staff on the pediatric and peds ICU units at Rush University Medical Center. 💛 She was SO calm and everyone remarked about her blingy Cavallo Hoof Boots!
