Because we an all-volunteer nonprofit organization, every dollar donated goes directly to our therapy animals and programs! What a great day of training in our huge 60x120 Foglia Family Foundation Training Center at SOUL Harbour Ranch! All 13 of our mini horses were out practicing the Pet Partners testing skills including walks, whoas, yelling, crowd, hugs, walking fast and slow, backing, being around wheelchairs and of course visits. Our volunteers rocked taking our incredible little horses through the skills. It’s no wonder we constantly hear that we have THE most well-behaved minis…and not just a few but 13!

And that’s a wrap for the 2024 Hobby Horse Winter Showcase at SOUL Harbour Ranch! Kids AND adults did a fabulous job of riding their beautiful hobby horses in our Showjumping, Barrel Racing and High Jump classes. Thank you also to Gwen and Scout for showing off your beautifully choreographed dressage routines. 🐶

Happy Birthday to our incredible volunteer Sue Riordan! Sue and her sweet golden Sedona are one of our registered Pet Partners therapy dog teams. You will see both of them at their monthly Countryside Elementary School “Read with Me” program as well as frequently at the Barrington Area Library, and other visits throughout the year.

Our monthly SOUL Veterans program is this Sunday, 12/29/24 at SOUL Harbour Ranch from 10:30am-12pm. 🇺🇸 Veterans and active military are welcome, with their families, to enjoy SOUL to SOUL connections with our therapy animals and with one another. 🇺🇸 The last Sunday of every month we are either out visiting veterans or we host veterans & their families on-site at SOUL Harbour Ranch. 🇺🇸 Check our website for updates under Programs. Look who got a new therapy vest for Christmas…BLOSSOM! 🐰 She has been doing SO good with her therapy training and is looking forward to becoming a registered Pet Partners therapy rabbit in 2025! (For those wondering, she weighs 11 pounds!)

Join us THIS SATURDAY 12/28/24 for our Hobby Horse Showcase at SOUL Harbour Ranch in Barrington from 11am-1pm! New to Hobby Horsing? Experienced? We welcome ALL levels. We have 30 participants as of today but there is still room for more!
