Major News!! We have found the first ever 9 to 5 Corporate Cat.🐱💻 Swiss was found crossing the highway walking towards our hospital. He was in pretty rough shape, and needed our help. However, what we didn't know that he was on his way here to get a job! Swiss found his place in the office and went right for the computer. But do not worry, he is prone to taking breaks and crawling up on his coworkers shoulders for plenty of cuddles, head rubs, and naps!

Well, the time has come to be brutally honest. If anyone has previously seen the viral post about a ‘demonic chihuahua’ that somehow got adopted - we are 100% copying them. 🤣

Pup entered our building kicking and screaming on May 11th, 2024. The very kind, burly police officer who found him was thoroughly frightened of the 15 pound terror he just had in his back seat and asked for our assistance getting him out. Pup came equipped with a leash and harness still attached, as well as, a sweater labeled “Pupfluencer.” Yes, this is his full name - although lovingly now called Pup. 🐶 His family was never found and he was not previously microchipped, thus began ACC Barrington’s very own Strange Case of Jekyll and Hyde, dog version. 🐾

Pup is particular. He's not overly enthusiastic about many people and really does not like people looking at him from outside of a kennel. He has chosen a select few of our team members to include as part of his ‘inner circle.' Fitting, considering he is a pupfluencer. 💅🏻 It is only these few people who he greets excitedly, jumping into their arms, showing off butt wiggles and giving endless kisses.
Also, if you think throwing treats in his kennel will make him love you…you thought wrong... you will receive a full malevolent smile (think, Pennywise). Pup does not like any sort of unexpected surprises in the form of people or treats coming through a kennel door. 💀

However, once Pup determines you worthy of his inner circle, he does not forget it! He just wants to sit near you, on you, or even keep your seat warm for you if you get out of it. 🥰 Pup deserves a human who will take the time to get to know him and his quirks. Maybe think of him as your new passion project? For full transparency, we do not think it will take long for him to warm up to someone new who is will to take the time with him!

Pup is between the age of 6-8 years old, he is fully vaccinated, microchipped, recently neutered, and healthy. Pup needs a home where he can roam free with no crates, unknown with children and no surprise parties with numerous strangers. He does however, love having other dogs and cats around to interact with. 🐈🐕

If you are looking for an overly devoted dog who will be your #1 fan, Pup is the one for you! Give him a chance and he will give you the rest of his life being your best friend. 💛
