Good evening 🙂

We want to announce that today July 1st, was our first day running animal control for the City of Barstow.

For any calls within the the city limits regarding any animal related issues please call us at 442-295-9002 and one of our officers will respond as soon as possible.

PLEASE NOTE: We respond to calls seven days a week from: 830 a.m. to 5 p.m. 442-295-9002.

Barstow PD takes over and responds to calls from:
5 p.m. to 8:30 a.m. 760-256-2211

We are excited about this new opportunity and look forward to serving the citizens and pets of Barstow🙂🙂🙂

ALL APPOINTMENTS have been booked for the month of July. The next signs ups will be on August 11th at
10 am.

UPDATE. We are setting up appointments to get cats fixed at a later date at the vet. We do not have a vet on staff to perform spay neuter or medical services. No need to bring your cats in to this sign up 🙂

We are grateful that we’ve had a huge interest in this program🙂. The cats have needed this help for such a long time.

We ask for your patience and understanding. We have a limited number of appointments available per month and at this point we believe they will be filled up on the first day of sign ups.

***Please be vigilant and aware that this type of behavior is current in our area***

We are posting this for public awareness. We want all pets to be safe.

We took this dog in as a stray on Thursday from City jurisdiction. After closer examination we saw that this angel was shot with a BB gun😔. The pup is happy and doing well and he still loves people.

We couldn’t believe things like this are actually happening but sadly it’s happening.

Again, please be vigilant and aware. Keep your pets secure and safe♥️

🇺🇸 Fourth of July is right around the corner and of course illegal fireworks are already starting. We will be giving away these stuffed toys in hopes of maybe providing a small bit of comfort for pets during the most stressful time of the year.

Starting Tuesday July 1, we will be giving them away at the shelter at no charge while supplies last.

Cats and kittens need help.

Earlier today, someone left 18 cats and kittens stuffed in two kennels in the gravel next to our dumpster corral on the property next to ours where they couldn’t be seen. We are thankful that when our dumpster was emptied, the employee let us know that there were two crates with cats. They were baking in the hot sun. Had he not seen them, they would have perished. *There are no cameras on that end of the neighboring property and we are sure whoever left them, knew that*

All these adult cats and kittens appear to be healthy and a little scared. They will immediately go up for adoption or rescue once we evaluate, see how they are eating, drinking, temperament etc.

♥️Baby Bear is up for adoption or rescue♥️. Eight week old male puppy. Unsure of his family history and breed. His story is on the previous post with his mama Charlie’s.

Baby Bear has longer fur. He has no resemblance to his mama🙂.
