REPOST -Freida♥️ This gorgeous girl is about 3 years old. She’s a sweet girl. Her kennel friend, Lady was adopted this weekend.

Her Merle coloring is so pretty and unique!! Frieda is a gentle treat taker and very polite. She’s got a silly personality and likes to play. She also likes to get pet scratches and loving attention.

Has not been around small dogs -cats-kids -livestock.

FINALLY……🙂 Gracie has been officially adopted❣️❣️❣️

Gracie went to her new home yesterday where she will loved forever and ever 🥰.

We are thrilled for this beautiful girl and thankful for her adopters.

To the person who tied up the dog to the front door not too long ago-the dog got away and is gone😔

Gone into the desert. Into the dark. Into the street where people drive 70 mph. Next to a busy freeway.

Thank you for the two people who went down there to look as soon as they got the news. We appreciate you for your time.

She was finally adopted♥️

These kids came in today from County Animal Control and Adelanto.

Only one dog had a chip. The red and white senior pit. He was tied up to a pole in Adelanto. We have called on the chip and we are waiting for a response.

If owner doesn’t come they will go adoption or rescue next week

The officer aged them at approx eight months. Maybe heeler mix. Weigh approximately 22-28 lbs

Adoption update ♥️♥️♥️ Will who is now named Papa Will🥰

There are many people who saved this boys life. All over California people came together to give Will a chance.

He was adopted in 2019 and won the hearts of many while waiting for his home.

Yes our shelter employees love all the animals but some become our favorites ♥️

His mom emailed recently and here is what she said

“ I adopted a Pitbull from you guys awhile back named Will. We call him Papa Will now 🤭

I know you were attached to him and wanted to let you know he still with us. Definitely getting older, vet has him on some medicine for his walking, but he's doing good. I how you are well”

Thank you to his family for keeping in touch. It means the world to us💕

Early morning drop off😔

Please share for adoption or rescue.

These two adult cats were huddled together for comfort next to the dangerous street. Many people drive in excess of 70 mph on a regular basis in front of the shelter. We are thankful they didn’t run.

First employee of the day scooped them up and brought them inside. No microchips.

They will be observed for the next couple of days and will go up for adoption or rescue after that. We will get better pics and genders once they decompress.

Sage💕-weighs 42 lbs. unsure of breed since she’s smaller than a husky and Belgian as what the owner believes she may be.

The owner’s child became allergic and had to sally surrender this beauty.

Below is the info written by the owner. Gets along with dogs, unsure about cats.

“I have a husky/belgian malinois puppy that I can no longer keep. I know her breed(s) is hard to find availability for, but that is without people knowing her. A little back story of Sage: We found her and her siblings abandoned in the middle of the desert last March. She was the smallest (runt) of the bunch with only being 1/3 of her siblings size. Both of her back legs seemed to be wounded and infected. My husband and I took her in and syringe fed her puppy formula, medicated and bandaged her legs, and helped her learn to walk.

She is now healthy and thriving and even running! She is very sweet, playful, and full of energy, but our 3 yr. old son is severely allergic to her (i.e, puffy eyes, running nose, itchy patches, and even his sclera (white part of eye) bulged leaving us to rush to the ER to give him steroids). We’ve been given him allergy medicine to help, but we don’t want to constantly be pumping him with these medications that are bad for his little body, and we don’t have a backyard to make her an outside dog.

Temperament & Trainability:
- Energetic, Sweet, Playful, Cuddly, Sassy, gets along with other dogs.
- Quick to learn, knows a few commands(i.e., sit, lay, leave it, break, come, etc.), a bit stubborn sometimes but loves positive reinforcement.
