It's Veterinary Technician Week!
We will be bragging about one of our amazing techs every day this week, and today is Stephanie Day!
Stephanie is a licensed and certified technician, and has been with True North since the very beginning when it was just an idea. Not only is she a wealth of knowledge and experience, she is also funny and fierce with a gigantic heart that she wears on her sleeve for all to see. She helps us look on the bright side when things are gloomy, and she loves your pets with compassion that is unparalleled.
Today is a very special day at True North! Our dear little Martha has been with us since December after she was found living at the Mount Washington Hotel. Although we don't know her official birthday, we deemed it fitting for her to share the same birthday as her namesake Martha Washington. So please wish the Queen of TNVH a happy birthday today! All your mothers love you ❤️ (even though the video says memories from Dec15-today, she is very much still alive and loving her best life!)
It’s National Love Your Pet Day!
We love all the pets, but special love to our hospital kitty, Martha. She brings us smiles and laughter throughout our days.
Today we are grateful for Monarch caterpillars and milkweed. ❤️. And of course, Kristen McDermott who curates our beautiful flowers.
Freezing for a Reason 2022
Thank you for helping Harvest Hills Animal Shelter. Your donations raised $1200 for team True North. And in honor of Betty White, we dressed as the Golden Girls. See photos in comments.
Why do we recommend parasite prevention year-round? Here are roundworms in vomitus. Yep, you’re welcome. Deworm your friends once a month, every month. We recommend oral heartworm medication for dogs and Revolution for cats.
This is November.
Man, May is so far away.
UPDATE 9:50 am- power is on. Phones are working.
Power is out. Phones are down. We are fully staffed but electricity helps us be able to do our jobs. We will let you know when we are back in electrical action.
Proof that the OraVet chews endure over a minute and a half of chomping, which is basically a record for this Labrador. Certified by the Veterinary Oral Health Council and endorsed by Graber! We have them here.
