Last but certainly not least, it's Kim day!!!

Kim is a Licenced Veterinary Technician and has immeasurable experience that she pulls from and is always willing to share. She is patient, kind, rock steady and funny, and keeps us all grounded. You may not get to see her very often since she tends to stay in lab and surgery, but be assured that your pets get to see her and benefit from her superior precision and knowledge. Kim was with us previously and recently came back to True North and we are so incredibly happy she came home!

Today we highlight MOLLY!

Molly has been with us for almost 4 years. She came to us as a receptionist, but her heart led her to inquire about moving into the role of Veterinary Assistant, where she now much prefers being more involved with the hands-on side of veterinary medicine. She has an almost super-human ability to absorb information and learn, which has helped her grow here at True North as well as making her the one who will remember minute details about the animals and their humans! Molly has a strong determination and a heart of gold and takes exceptional care of your pets when they visit, and we feel so lucky to have her.

Leigha is a Veterinary Assistant, and a graduate of the White Mountain Community College Veterinary Assistant Program. She started at True North almost 5 years ago as a receptionist, but her love for all things furry soon had her fully immersed in hand on positions. She is patient and kind with your pets and will always go out of her way to protect animals and advocate for anyone unable to speak for themselves. She keeps us laughing (not always on purpose) and is always there when you need a hand. We are so grateful she came into our lives and decided to stay.

This older lady is currently enjoying her stay with us but we know her family is missing her!!!

Leah is a Veterinary Assistant, but very close to finishing her schooling to become a Licensed Technician. She has been with us at True North for 5 and a half years, and has done nothing but make us better daily since she arrived. Leah is very detail oriented and keeps us moving forward while also entertaining us with her brilliant humor. She is silly and smart and wonderful and exactly what we need! She absolutely loves all the animals that come to visit us, but has a soft spot for cats and their perfect toe-beans.

We will be bragging about one of our amazing techs every day this week, and today is Stephanie Day!
Stephanie is a licensed and certified technician, and has been with True North since the very beginning when it was just an idea. Not only is she a wealth of knowledge and experience, she is also funny and fierce with a gigantic heart that she wears on her sleeve for all to see. She helps us look on the bright side when things are gloomy, and she loves your pets with compassion that is unparalleled.

MISSING CAT IN JACKSON

Lassie is our fairly small 13 year old cat. She has been missing for 4 days now. Lassie has been afflicted with arthritis and is a little stiff when she jumps. Please keep an eye out for her.
We live on Carter Notch Rd, in Jackson, not very far from The Eagle Mt House hotel.

Heads up! If you are traveling out of the country (including Canada and Mexico) with your dog after August 1, 2024, new rules will be in place. Rules require all dogs to be microchipped, have a rabies vaccine given after the microchip was placed and the rabies vaccine must have been given by a USDA-accredited veterinarian (which I am). At least 28 days must pass after the rabies vaccine (if it was the first one given after the microchip or by a USDA-accredited veterinarian). If your dog was already microchipped and current on rabies given at True North, then that part is all set.
After July 15, you will be able to access the new Import Form that you fill out and I will be able to access the Rabies Verification form I have to fill out and have the USDA endorse online for $38.

Lots of new stuff but we will get it done and soon it will be our new normal!

Posting for clients. This young kitty has stressed their older female cat so she is excessively licking off her own fur. The family is so sad to have to find a new home for this great cat, but we applaude them advocating for the happiness of their older girl.

Free to a great home!

Buddy is a gray and white, medium haired, 1 year old, domestic neutered male cat. He is a fantastic mouser, very affectionate and curious. He also loves to fetch, play, eat, greet you at the door and have his head scratched. So far he has been an indoor cat. All of his records are available and up to date.

My husband, daughter and I adopted Buddy In October 2023 from friends who got him as a kitten in July from Vermont. He was a birthday present to this family’s son(one of my daughter’s classmates). Turns out the son was allergic to Buddy which is why we volunteered to adopt him. We love Buddy, he is such a wonderful cat and we wish we could keep him. But he is just bolder than our older female cat can handle. His ideal home may be one where he’s the only cat for now.
