Princess is turning out to be a fantastic dog. She gets along with dogs, could care less about the cat, appears housebroken, walks good on a leash, knows sit command and easily corrected and follows directions, like "Off". Oh and she is sweet as can be. She loves attention and gives kisses. She rides really well in the car too.

Here's SAIN's newest rescue, Princess, a beagle mix, maybe chihuahuaand/or bassett. All we know is she is adorable! She is approximately 2 years old, fully vetted except spay, which will be scheduled. She is sweet, gets along with foster dogs, walks good on a leash, and easy correct. She is working on commands and knows sit. She hasn't barked or howled yet.

COME SEE ADAM TODAY! Adam, 4 year old, miniature pinscher/chihuahua mix will be at the ADOPTION SHOW AT PETSMART 428 RANDALL RD SOUTH ELGIN TODAY FROM 11 - 1. He is a male, has all vaccines, micro-chipped, and neutered. He is 11 lbs of pure joy. He quickly got alone with the dogs in my home. Adam is great with adults and kids of all ages and dogs. He is interested in cats but doesn't have a mean bone in his body. Adam loves to run and sniff around in the yard. He loves his walks. Adam is probably one of the best "canine snugglers" I have had in my home. He appears housetrained. He is gated into the kitchen with my other dogs or left to roam the house when I am gone. Adam barks when on leash as he is "talking" to the other dogs and people to say hello and get them to come meet him. He will be at the adoption shows until he finds his forever home. Adam is still waiting for his forever home. He is fantastic with all ages of humans. He gets along with dogs and is playful. He loves his walks but also just laying in the sun. Adam enjoys the outside and his stuffy toys. 4 year old miniature pinscher/chihuahua mix. Fully vetted, neutered, chipped, housetrained but stays in a crate when all humans are out of the house. Harley loving his stuffy and being outside in the backyard. Harley is a 2 year old standard poodle, fully vetted, chipped, house trained,, crate trained - does wonderful in the crate. He loves all humans and most dogs but can be selective with bigger dogs and can be overwhelmng for really small dogs. He would do best with a fenced in yard and daily walks.

SAIN Rescue (Saving Animals In Need Rescue) has two wonderful dogs up for adoption. Adam, a 4 year old Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua mix, about 11 lbs. Loves everyone, good with kids too, fully vetted, housetrained and crate trained, although he doesn't like to be in his crate. He is crated when his foster is at work; otherwise, he is free to roam. He doesn't go far from his humans as he is a cuddler and attaches quickly to those who love him and show him attention. He loves his walks and hanging out in the backyard.

Harley, 2 year old standard poodle, about 65 lbs. He loves people and great with kids. He's still young so he doesn't always know his body space. He doesn't have a mean bone in his body but he can accidentally knock down a really small dog. He is fully vetted, neutered, house trained and crate trained. He goes right inside his crate with no problem. He has separation anxiety but that is well controlled by use of his crate and medication. Once he gets settled in his new home, the vet believes he should be able to be weaned off the medication as appropriate with veterinarian supervision. Harley would do well with a dog playmate that is smaller than him but not too small or possibly an only dog. He loves to play "ChuckIt"/fetch in the fenced yard. He loves to go for walks and run around in the fenced yard and just hang out there on nice days.

Harley loves this weather!

Harley loves laying in the backyard. He plays fetch and plays with his stuffy. He is 2 1/2 years old but so much puppy still in him. He's looking for his forever home. Ideal home would have a smaller dog than he is to play with but maybe not too small as he doesn't have great body awareness and could accidentally hurt a really little dog. He is great with little kids and humans. He could be an only dog with someone home often. He is crate trained and he is crated when his foster is gone. Harley seems safe and comfortable in his crate and goes in easily. Otherwise, if left to roam the house when all the humans are gone, he gets really anxious and could hurt himself. He is currently taking medication to help him with his anxiety but this may not be something he will need long term. ZAPPA found his adoptive family! He is getting adopted today, two generations of humans in one home. Plenty of human attention and the only dog. He quickly connected with the male adopter, YES, male adopter. The adopter got on the floor with Zappa and he loved it. Zappa was really good with the adopters parents too, even the man. I say this because Zappa has been selective with the men he likes and he likes them. They recently lost their other small dog who used to go on three good walks a day. Zappa loves to hang outside in this beautiful weather. He's laying down on my patio right now with all the other pups.
