At DPR our cattle are maternal bred for females that are excellent mothers that have great disposition, udder structure, longevity, and the fleshing ability to thrive on native grasses with no extra feed. We believe that profit is highly driven from the female side. DPR females' offer more live calves

equaling more pounds to sell. Yet they are expected to breed back and calve into a tight 45 day calving window creating a uniform calf crop without the use of synchronization programs. Bulls at DPR are stout and bred for calving ease, yet calves that get up and GROW! Not to mention, added carcass quality only offers more premiums that adds more profit to your operation.
