We picked up another bale of straw to beef up the houses and the wagon the cats so love š.
We have deadly cold weather headed here next week. We have 4 heated houses and 6 other houses further out on the property for this colony as well as the wagon under a covered storage area.
But even with the insulated houses this weather is very dangerous and uncomfortable for the animals.
And donāt give me the bs story of they have fur and are made to be outside. Do me a favor put on a heavy coat and go out in 8, 15 even 30 degree weather and see how long you can sit out there and be comfortableā¦
Be kind, supply some safe cover insulated with straw for a furry soul to get some comfort.

Diablo is out of Surgery he had an abdominal hernia and the muscle had pulled away from the rib cage which is where the liver was pushing through. The liver looked good so they didn't need to resect the liver. He did well. He was slightly anemic probably due to some internal bleeding. They have him on some heavy pain meds for the night. And will call us in the morning unless something happens through the night.
We also had the 4 kittens in for their vaccinations, worming and checkups and testingā¦ and that bill was a little over $1000 .
We are still very far away from the needed amount for the $7000 surgery and to pay all the expenses for the others in our care. So, PLEASE consider donating any amount.
