From a feral cat that would run when you moved, who had sustained a horrific leg injury and survived for several weeks before being trapped and rescued, to this!! Love, understanding and patience that's all it takes.....Sir Thomas the Brave of Tripaw.... you Rock buddy! He's been with us now for 9 years and is our lead socializer when we get new rescues in. He loves everyone

UPDATE: we have a foster/adopter for Storm yay!

Meet our newest rescue, Storm. We are looking for a Foster and eventually an adopter for this nugget. She is estimated at about 5 weeks so reafy for a new home in 3-4 weeks.

But we do need a foster until then unless you want to foster to adopt and have experience with underage kittens. If interested email me at [email protected] and we will send an application to foster or adopt.

🚨 Rescue in progress 🚨

Got word a little kitten was in need of our help. Her sibling passed away and mom was no where to be seen. A lovely family took her into safety and then reached out to us. We believe she is about 4-5 weeks old. She’s sweet as pie, affectionate, and playful! We have kept the name Storm⛈️ that the family who found her gave her. She will be needing her own family in a few weeks.

In my memories today from 2 yesrs ago: the first 2 pictures are when we got a very sickly little kitten we named Rosie. Weren’t sure she was going to make it. She did! The next 2 are Rosie with her forever family where she is the Queen ❤️❤️

At Quakertown Emergency Vet with this fella. He had been showing up with the colony on my property for several weeks. Started coming regularly, and didn’t look all that healthy looked older to me pretty much thought he was a dump. And sure enough I’m sure he was dumped. He is not feral very good temperament. He was good for blood work getting his temperature taken everything.

He is not neutered so we will be getting that done. He does have a heart murmur and we’re waiting on blood work results. And this fellow will need a home. He is a senior. They think he is about 10 years old and he deserves to havea loving family.

Destiny? A little story. I was named after my Great Grandmother on my dad’s side. Her name was Maria Romano in marriage but her maiden name was Maria Gato … Gato in Italian means cat.

My grandmother on my mom’s side was Gertrude. Saint Gertrude is the patron saint of …. You guessed it… cats. And my mother was Catherine, but went by Kitty before changing to being called Kate in her 40’s or so.

🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ what can I say…. There was no escaping my cat lady/rescuer Fate

We got a message about this little nugget needing rescuing. He/she is about 5 days old. Hayley raised a hand to go get the nugget that happened to be close to where she lives, and do the unfriendly task of getting up to feed every couple hours… bottle babies are rough on the sleep and emotions, but so worth it.

He will be going to Cat NAPS of Pottstown later today for them to take over!

Send this littke one some positive energies… they are alwsys touch & go.

Juniper is home and is loving his pain meds 🤣. He’s very hyped up and hungry.

Dr. Stover says he a really bad inflammation and sores on his left side. She said they must have bern very painful because he was reactionary even under anesthesia 😥. He had 3 very bad teeth that the roots had resorbed. They were removed.

He is on antibiotics and had pain meds for a few days. He will go back for a recheck in 2 weeks to assess how the gums look. Thank you Dr. Stover and MainStreetVet.net for taking good care of our Cowcat.

Our Sweet Juniper James Cowcat now has stomatitis and is going in for a dental tomorrow to try and stop it from progressing. Stomatitis is an awful awful disease and when he started having issues eating I just knew we were being forced down this hell road again.

We’ve had to deal with this with too many of our rescues ☹️
Stomatitis causes painful sores in the mouth and down the throat, which makes it very painful to eat. There is no “cure” sometimes it can be helped temporarily with steroids and pain medication. Sometimes full tooth extraction.

However, we’ve done full mouth extractions on three cats, and all three of them still had stomatitis return over and over again.
Dentals make me extremely nervous, because I’ve seen too many cats go downhill after the dentals. They are under anesthesia typically for a pretty long time.
