Dear Friends,
It is with much regret that we have decided to CANCEL our Combined Test On Sunday, August 20! After a brief respite for a few days the temperatures may rise to 110F over the weekend. I just hate the thought of horses having to travel after mid-morning. Your ENTRIES will be refunded!

PLEASE NOTE that those who wish to School Cross Country may do so with a REGISTERED TRAINER on Sunday, from 6 30 AM until 10 30 AM. Or by appointment at another date. Please respond via e mail, to Jan if you wish to school THIS WEEKEND!
Your Trainer/Coach must send me a copy of his or her Certificate of Insurance so that I can register it with Our MARKEL Insurance Company, by Friday NOON!
Only those Trainers will be permitted to school their students.
Riders will not be permitted to ride without CERTIFIED trainers!

Suggestions for keeping trailer and horses cooler.
Secure a CLEAN MUCK Bucket in front by horse manger and fill with unopened ice bags.
As water melts it can be used to sponge horses and also scooped into a small bucket for drinking water.
If you have a layer of shavings in trailer, load your horse promptly after hosing well. The moving air will cool him as you travel, and the damp shavings will help cool him and prevent slipping.
Before travelling . Line a water bucket with a kitchen trash bag liner. Fill with water from home. Secure with twisty wire!
You will have instant water at your destination without searching for it!

The only GOOD NEWS is that, in preparation for this weekend, we have raked our pastures, removed 14 plus dead trees and have made new log jumps and cleaned up the farm!
