⭐️SHF Sales Graduate Spotlight⭐️
Folklore is another standout SHF/Eyckenhoeve Sales Graduate who is now a part of the Augusta Pines Farm team! Purchased in 2020 by Amber Tribble with the guidance of Rachel Lindsey, Folklore has achieved tremendous success with the combined efforts of Amber, Rachel, and Alex Ansteth.

Formerly known as Cortano, Folklore began his career under Rachel’s thoughtful training. Together, they laid the foundation for what would become a standout 2022 season, which included:
🏆 Reserve Champion at the International Derby Regional Championships
🏆 Debuts at Green Hunter Finals, USHJA Derby Finals, and all major indoor National Championships

Following Amber’s relocation, “Archie” joined the Augusta Pines team, where he continued to shine with both Alex & Amber in the irons.

Alex shares, “I’m just lucky enough to get the ride now! Archie is everyone’s favorite. He’s always wonderful and loves to win!!”

We’re thrilled to see Folklore continue his winning ways and are incredibly grateful to Amber, Rachel, and Alex for their dedication and trust in our sales program.

⭐️SHF Staff Spotlight⭐️
Get to know Assistant Trainer & Rider, Claire Garduno!

⭐️Claire joined the SHF team in August 2024, bringing over 20 years of experience in the hunter/jumper industry. Originally from Minnesota, Claire grew up in the saddle & found early success in the jumper ring with her heart horse who defied the odds & helped her earn numerous accolades in the Junior Jumper divisions.

⭐️Her passion for riding led her to South Dakota State University, where she competed on the D1 (NCEA) Team. During her junior year (2019), she earned All-American honors Over Fences & served as a two-time Hunt Seat captain. Claire graduated with a business degree in entrepreneurship & turned professional at the start of 2021.

⭐️In the summer of 2024, Claire took her horsemanship to the next level by apprenticing under a respected Grand Prix rider & young horse developer in Ireland before returning to the States & joining SHF!

⭐️Her favorite part about SHF? “Definitely the overall growth mindset. Courtney & Scott are phenomenal mentors & I’ve learned so much from them. SHF takes incredible care of their people & values everyone’s individualized skill set. I feel not only valued here, but also encouraged to grow—which is something really special in this industry.”

⭐️Claire’s favorite SHF memory so far is Pin Oak 2025 — her first local show with the team. “We had such great results & so much fun. I couldn’t have been more proud of our outcomes & unity as a team.”

⭐️Looking ahead, Claire is excited to become more involved in the sales side of the business. “With my background in young horse development & a passion for expanding my knowledge of equine sales, I can’t wait to continue learning from SHF’s incredible expertise & network.”

⭐️SHF Sales Graduate Spotlight⭐️
We are proud to highlight Snow Patrol, one of several SHF & Eyckenhoeve Sales Graduates flourishing under the training of Alex Ansteth and the Augusta Pines Farm team!

Affectionately known as Stoney, this exceptional young hunter was acquired in the fall of 2023 by APF to be developed through the Green Hunter ranks — and he has surpassed all expectations. Since joining Alex’s program, Stoney has secured numerous division championships, showcasing both his consistency and drive to win.

In 2024, he earned the SSG Super Series Year-End Award for the 3’/3’3” Green Hunters and recently clinched his first USHJA International Derby victory at the Gulf Coast Winter Classic!🏆

Alex shares, “Stoney is one of those rare horses that just shows up every single time. He’s sweet, smart, and all about the team. He has a great brain and is truly a pleasure to have in the barn.”

We are thrilled to see Snow Patrol’s continued success and are grateful to Alex for her continued trust in our sales program. Stay tuned as we spotlight more special horses who continue to shine in their new homes, thanks to Alex and the Augusta Pines Farm team.

Pin Oak Charity Horse Show 2025 was a little extra special with Courtney Lenkart taking home the Neiman Marcus Perpetual Trophy for her 6th time!🏆

This prestigious award is presented to the highest-scoring professional hunter round of the show — and this year, it was earned by Mercedes Flett’s Chicoletto, who laid down an impressive 92 in the Green 3’6”/3’9” Hunters.

Congratulations to Courtney Lenkart & Mercedes Flett on Chico’s outstanding performance & this incredible accomplishment!
While Courtney was sad to miss accepting the award in person, Scott & William proudly did the honors on her behalf — in matching outfits, of course 😉💙�

Team South Haven continued their success in Wellington with WEF 4! 👏

🏆Lily Goldstein & Laramy conquered the Eq rings, making a clean sweep in the Adult Amateur Eq over fences with scores of 92 & 90 to finish Champion. Lily & Laramy also claimed the win in the THIS Adult Medal & a top-4 finish in the Bruno Delgrange Palm Beach Adult Medal.

🏆Lori Mathews piloted Symbolic to the Championship honor in 50 & Over Adult Amateur Hunters with impressive scores of 90 & 87!🥉In the same division with Exclusive, Lori rode to multiple ribbons including a 3rd place finish on a score of 84! Lori also put in beautiful rides with Allegretto in the AO 3’3” Hunters!

🥉Courney Lenkart & Lori Mathew’s Allegretto jumped to a 3rd and 5th out of 70 entries in the Performance 3’3” Hunters! 🏅With Merecedes Flett’s Chicoletto, Courtney jumped to score of 85.5 for a top-5 finish in the Green 3’6” Hunter Stake!

🏅Evan Werner & Coolboy earned great ribbons out of 40+ entries in the 15-17 Equitation.🏅In the jumper ring, Evan & Fun De L’Oiseliere made their debut in the Low Junior Jumpers.

🏅Liliya Obaid & Icara Z were in the ribbons in the Children’s Modified Jumpers!
