Good morning from Downtown Bartow! We just finished setting up for our biggest event of the year, The Bartow Honeybee Festival. As the only beekeepers selling their honey in Bartow we are proud to be your local honey supplier. We will bee here until 4. Can’t wait to see y’all soon!

Expectations vs. Reality 🐝 this huge hive was ready to rumble this morning and put up a good fight. Pulled about 70 pounds of honey out. Those comb pieces continued another foot behind what was visible.

Come on downtown tomorrow to support local businesses and check out all of the cool crafts from around the area. We will have our honey, beeswax candles and wax melts, and an observation hive that lets you see the inner workings of a LIVE HIVE. 🐝 🍯 🕯

We are so excited, Fall Festival is tomorrow in Downtown Bartow and it's going to be a beautiful day, come down and join the fun, eating, shopping, car show, kids activities and a pumpkin patch.

This hive moved into the clippings bag on a push mower about a month ago. The owner told me she went to start it but was warned by a buzzing defender just in time.

Check out that Propolis! This hive was high up in a tree and likely for a long time. Using a lift, thanks to , I was able to seal the hive entrance temporarily. Next week the hollow section will be relocated to our apiary.

Today we harvested delicious Orange Blossom honey 🍊🍯 from the bees next to our namesake orange clay road. The first box I opened I just so happened to spot the queen. We will soon have this delectable Central Florida classic available in bottles of all sizes.

Today I pumped three barrels of Orange Blossom into buckets for my largest order to date, 1500 lbs of pure raw deliciousness. Before we harvest the 2021 OB crop we have to make some room. So come help clear us out as we offer a discount on Orange Blossom honey for a limited time.

First bee call of the year. Holes in the bottom of your planters are great for drainage but are also great for feral bee swarms. It was fun to test out my new cowboy veil 🤠 🐝
