Rockin W Ranch had a fantastic time at the final local 4H horse show of the season! We're incredibly proud of our Horsemanship Student, Mattie, and her amazing horse, Foolish Fantasy, for earning W/T English Reserve High Point! 🌟

We also want to give a huge shoutout to our Coach Julia, and her student, Kelsey, for stepping up and showing some of our horses that needed show experience. Kelsey did a wonderful job in both the English and Western divisions! We're so grateful for their dedication.

‘I want to just ride’ - Say this to any seasoned professional in the game and they will look at you like ‘Oh honey’ 😂

You have to learn to be a rider, groom, horseman/women, business owner, lead a team, handle clients and alongside all this you’ve still got to muck out and pick a broom up until you can earn enough money to have someone help you do this whilst you are doing something else to earn this said money.

‘I want to just ride’ doesn’t exist and if you see someone doing that you have no idea how hard they worked to get in that position. So get sweeping my friend ♥️

We are NOT selling horses trailers or horses. This is NOT our standard practice at Rockin W Ranch.

We have had recent incidents of people showing up on our property ready to buy a horse trailer, or messaging us about a sale post they saw advertising one for sale.

All incidents are being reported!

Rockin W Ranch offers horsemanship lessons, camps, pony experiences, and pony parties to the local community. We offer boarding of horses. We also have our non-profit organization called A Heart for H.E.R.O.’s, Inc.

Rockin W Ranch offers a Tiny Trotters program for horse loving kids between the ages of 4 to 6.

This group meets weekly on Wednesday evenings at 5:15 pm for a one hour lesson with our ponies, in a relaxing atmosphere.

Parents/Guardians will enjoy assisting in their little one’s lesson as well.

Congratulations to Miss Mattie & Foolish Fantasy, for being awarded Reserve Champion Junior English at the Polk County Youth Fair!

This is Miss Mattie’s 1st year participating in 4H and in the Polk County Youth Fair.
She participated in many classes being offered throughout the day which included horsemanship skills, and a costume contest for fun.

Each participant must take a horse knowledge quiz and keep a thorough record book throughout the year, submitting it for judging at the Youth Fair. Mattie had a wonderful experience and we are very proud of her accomplishments!

We would like to recognize a few of our horsemanship students, Kaylee, Kelsey, and Mattie for their representing Rockin W Ranch at the recent Polk County 4H Open Horse Show.
Hard work begins long before participating in a horse show. This includes practicing skills, preparing your horse and making sure your horse is taken care of prior to, during, and after the show.
These students do just that. We also encourage our riders to have FUN, and execute good sportsmanship as well.
This was Miss Kelsey’s first horse show and she was excited to place in 4 out of 5 events.
Congratulations to these young ladies who did their best!
