Basehor Veterinary Clinic URGENT CARE opens Monday, January 13 with the following hours:
Monday: 6pm-10pm
Tuesday: 6pm-10pm
Wednesday: 6pm-10pm
Thursday: CLOSED
Friday: 6pm-10pm
Every other Saturday starting Jan 25: 8am-noon.

We were looking forward to meeting our new patient, Banks, tomorrow, but we will have to wait a day. We will be CLOSED Monday, January 6 due to the inclement weather conditions. Please stay in, stay safe, stay warm! 🐾❄️🐾

Basehor Veterinary Clinic is hiring for a full or part time veterinary assistant AND registered veterinary technician with surgical experience.

Our clinic is an independently owned GP that focuses on quality patient care and work/life balance for our staff. Our newly opening after hours urgent care will provide flexible hours or a hybrid schedule.

We hope you’re celebrating the magic of Christmas! We will be closed 12/24-12/26 to enjoy this precious time with our families. Charlie made it back safely from North Carolina. It was a successful trip; he did what he was meant to do and what he was trained for. Because of him, there is closure for families of hurricane victims. So far, he just has a mild bacterial skin that that we are treating. Job well done, Charlie. 🐾🙏🐾💙

Charlie, our hero, is tucked in for the night near Asheville. He will be searching tomorrow for deceased victims of the hurricane. It’s devastating there. The locals are all just helping eachother out the best they can. Cassie, Charlie’s owner, and Kandi, another team member at Basehor Vet Clinic, are committed to helping families get closure. Prayers for their safety and health. Dogs have gotten sick from working there, but he’s well vaccinated and strong. 🐾🙏🐾🙏

Our sweet Great Dane/Mastiff patient, Aarg, grew up a bit (now 175 lbs) and has had some recent health issues at the age of 22 months old. He presented with painful, bleeding re**al polyps. We were able to coordinate with our local internal medicine specialist, Dr. Catherine Peace, and our local surgery specialist, Dr. Andrea DeLuke, for a same day procedure at Basehor Veterinary Clinic for colonoscopy and colore**al surgery. Our Veterinary Technicians, April and Megan, and our Vet Assistant, Alexis, worked alongside Dr. Peace’s and Dr. DeLuke’s Vet Techs for this team effort that we believe will prove curative for Aarg. We are so proud to be able to accommodate this for our (once little) guy!

We adopted! Meet Ringel! She has already stolen our hearts! She is in clinic cat training learning all of the ropes and being spoiled beyond belief!

Our hearts are broken as we lost our treasured CeCe today due to chronic kidney disease. She went very peacefully surrounded by her clinic family. She had an amazing 17 years. We will miss her shenanigans, but we have a lifetime of hysterical stories. She was truly a member of our team, and in her eyes the leader of the team. Her spunky spirit could make you laugh on the most difficult of days. The clinic already seems so empty without her. We love you, CeCe. Thank you for being there for us.
