I don't want to jinx us, but wanted to pass on a bit of good news.

We are doing great today! Good appetite, getting around well, and looking much more like herself. Fingers crossed this continues and we have a our girl back to the way she was soon. ❤️

Our baby is home. ❤️

Still not the dog we dropped off, and a very sleepy girl but I have to hope that being with her people makes her feel better faster.

Her bill was another $800 and since we didn't have checks to post date, it had to be paid outright. Which means we are hurting pretty badly right now, and still very open to donations to help get by the next week. But she's home, and that is the most important thing.

We made it through the night and showing small signs of recovery!! Still not out of the woods, but good news today! Thank you all so very much for your love, prayers and donations. It takes a village sometimes and you all are amazing! ❤️

So Penny is just not doing well. Her body is struggling to overcome all the complications from her surgery. It's not guaranteed she will make it through the night, but we still have hope for her, and won't give up until she does. we were able to go see her and get her to eat for us tonight which is a big step. So please keep her in your thoughts tonight. ❤️

I am desperate. I wouldn't be here right now making this post if I wasn't.

Penny is back in the hospital. They don't know exactly what's going on, only now her abdomen is filled with fluid. She went from a seemingly healthy dog, to one very very sick with little warning. They say it isn't a surgical complication, but I am so confused.

I have spent $2,200 already and wiped out the emergency fund I built back up after the last round of emergencies a few months ago.

They are looking at another 600-1500 depending on treatment to be done.

I don't know what to do. I'm so stressed, and so scared, and I have no more money to pull from anywhere.

I am asking for help, even though it kills me. I pride myself on independence, and helping others, not asking for help.

But I need it.

I am willing to do anything to earn money, I can schedule photoshoots, work at your house, anything.

I can also accept donations if anyone would like to help Ms. Penny. She is the foundation for all the wonderful dogs that have touched people's lives and homes. She deserves the best. I can provide cashapp, paypal, Zelle, etc

Miss Athena had a photoshoot before she goes to her new home this weekend. I couldn't narrow them down, so you get a photo dump. Lol

Ms. Athena (formerly Angel) is doing so well! She's doubled her weight again and is 2.9 lbs now. ❤️

She went in for her second set of vaccinations and vet check and she has surprised everyone with her amazing growth and what a strong girlie she is.

Her new mama Ananka is over the moon about her and can't wait until she's ready to go home. She's going to be living her absolute best life!

As some of you may know, we had a very rough couple weeks. Poor mama Penny had some milk/mammary problems and we lost most of the litter. But after 6 vet visits, and a lot of sleepless nights, both mama and her last little baby are doing well!

Little Miss Angel had her last specialist check up, and has doubled her weight over 3 days and is on the right track to thrive. ❤️

Queen Penny Rose will be enjoying her retirement, on her favorite couches, and hopefully teaching her daughter, Siggy to be the best mom next year. Thank you for all the love and support during this time.

The doggos eat pretty good. They're becoming quite the foodies. They have their goodies all over the kitchen; Freeze and air dried beef toppers, supplements, salt free sardines, eggs and pumpkin.

Tonight was Purina kibble, soaked in stock (w/ boiled chicken and frozen green beans). Then topped with those Solid Gold beefies. I swear their meal prep takes longer than our dinner 🤣❤️
