Our Boarding, Daycare and Self Dog Wash services will NOT be available beginning Monday, February 5th, through Sunday, February 11th (in 2024). We will be closed for deep cleaning and repairs.

We will have limited Grooming appointments available Tuesday, February 6th, through Friday, February 9th.

If you have been watching the news, you are aware of a mysterious and potential deadly respiratory illness that is affecting dogs across the country. Symptoms include coughing, sneezing, a runny nose and lethargy which could progress to pneumonia. According to doctors, this illness does not respond well to antibiotics.

Along with other respiratory infections, this illness is most easily transmitted in social settings or where a number of dogs hang out together (boarding, daycare, grooming appointment, dog parks).

If your dog begins to show possible signs of this illness, please make an appointment with your veterinarian.

As responsible dog owners and out of respect for the dogs that are visiting our facility, please do not bring your dog to Totally Dog if they are experiencing any symptoms.

Dogs who have respiratory infections will not be allowed to come into Totally Dog for at least 2 weeks.

If your dog shows symptoms or has been "diagnosed" with this mysterious illness after visiting our facility, please let us know ASAP ([email protected] or 816-690-2060).

Please know that we are doing what we can to keep our facility safe. That means more cleaning, more disinfecting, not using shared balls, toys or water dishes at playtime, etc. However, understand that this is not 100% effective with airborne illnesses.

If you have any questions regarding this respiratory illness, please contact your veterinarian.
