We have some terrific news to share!! Starting November 1st, we will have a second groomer on our team! Michelle comes to us with 4 years of grooming experience, 8 years of working with animals! Check out the pictures to see some samples of her work! Call to schedule with Tine or Michelle! We have also recently added a grooming apprentice, Sara, so we have plenty of availability for baths and nail trims as well! Make sure to let the staff know if you are scheduling with Tine or Michelle!

We had a great week celebrating our staff! Enjoy some videos of the awards ceremony! Heather's son came home from college (she cannot be old enough to have a son in college), so she was a little late and did not make the videos! These three have all taken multiple strays home!

As we gear up to start our National Vet Tech Week (in our case, we celebrate the entire staff) celebrations, I wanted to let you know about two events that will be open to the public! On Tuesday, Oct. 17th, we will host JEB'S Famous Hotdogs from Noon-4 pm, and on Thursday, October 19th, we will host Cali's Concessions from 1-3 pm. They will set up in our empty parking lot across from the clinic! Come out and support these small businesses!

Both our phones and our internet remain out of service! Soon, we will hook this old standby up! In the meantime, if you have an emergency, please call (803) 226-1694. I am working remotely to have access and will get word to the clinic via smoke signal....(actually, we have some vehicles with wireless connections that work, so our workaround should get us through this!) Hopefully, everything will be up and running soon!

We are excited for SC's first vet school and THRILLED that they used a photo of our own Marena Fleming and a picture of our clinic for the announcement! Did you know that we currently have 4 employees in vet school?

We are preparing to launch the first College of Veterinary Medicine in the State of South Carolina following formal approval on June 22 by the Clemson University Board of Trustees. We plan to enroll the first students in Fall 2026 with the first class of veterinarians graduating in 2030, and the college will leverage the University’s existing animal health programs and infrastructure to create a veterinary medicine workforce to fill a statewide shortage of veterinarians.

Today we celebrated the upcoming wedding of Elissa Rodgers and Caleb Warren! Elissa has a busy summer! Two weeks ago she graduated veterinary technician school! In a little over two weeks, she gets married! And on July 17th, she takes the VTNE and will become our newest licensed technician! Your work family loves you and we are so proud of you!
