Thank you for visiting VOGT FARM. We are a small family farm just outside of beautiful Batesville, Indiana. In the Spring, visit VOGT FARM Greenhouse for all of your vegetable plants and flowers. Be sure to visit us Mother's Day weekend for our Hanging Basket Festival. Spend Mother's Day with Mom and treat her to lunch with fried chicken made right on the farm. In June, be sure to stop by for fre

sh blueberries. You pick them or we pick them. Then in late June, be sure to come to the Blueberry Festival for some of that famous fried chicken and fresh blueberry pie. Then in the fall, be sure to visit our Pumpkin Festival. VOGT FARM Pumpkin Festival has become a tradition in many families. Take a horse-drawn trolley ride to the pumpkin patch to pick your own pumpkin and enjoy homemade pumpkin pie, pumpkin bread and pumpkin rolls. Lots of activities for the kids and a nice family outing for the whole family.

We are still having our flower sale and still have quite a few very nice flowers left but…… WHO IS READY FOR SOME BLUEBERRIES!? We are going to open the blueberry patch Saturday morning, June 8th! You pick blueberries, $4 per pint. We have some of the biggest and sweetest blueberries we have ever grown and they are plentiful! Come see us, open 9-6 daily. Please remember we do not accept cards.
‼️‼️ We do have a propane cannon that goes off every couple of minutes to keep the birds out of the blueberries ‼️‼️

One month ago, our family changed forever. The days since have been some of the most difficult days our family has ever experienced. Jerry’s passing was an unexpected tragedy and one we are still struggling to come to terms with. As we continue to forge ahead and attempt to imagine our future without our husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, we are all determined to continue the vision he had for VOGT FARM. We believe he wouldn’t want it any other way and we are determined to make him proud. Our family has been overwhelmed by the show of support from our extended family, friends, neighbors, and customers. Thank you to everyone that came to the farm the following days to show your support. Your presence was a comfort, and we are forever thankful. Thank you to everyone that bought flowers in the days after. Your support is greatly appreciated, and it gives us joy to know Jerry’s flowers are being taken care of. Thank you to everyone that brought food for the family and for bringing food for the reception after the funeral. Thank you to everyone that answered our call and lined the roads for Jerry’s final ride home. It was an overwhelming show of support that took our breath away. Thank you. We would like to thank all first responders, Batesville Police Department, Batesville Fire Department, Ripley County Sheriff’s Department, Indiana State Police, and the Ripley County Coroner’s Office. Your professionalism was on full display; your compassion was felt by all. Thank you for your service. Thank you for being there for us. Thank you to the Osgood Journal. Your front-page story was a beautiful tribute, and we appreciate it. Thank you, Rodger and Taaron Meyers. We couldn’t have asked for a more fitting service. Thank you for making it happen.
