Meet Leo! Leo is a 10yr old whose owner surrendered to an overcrowded southern shelter. Leo has been brought up to date on shots, neutered, and had his dental and bloodwork done. He is now heading to Maine to find his retirement home. Is Leo the one fur you?

PPR is in need of fosters. We are not able to rescue as many dogs as we used to, due to a lower number of available foster homes. Can you help? We cover all medical and supplies, while these pups are in your care.
As a reminder: PPR does not have a shelter or central location; instead, we rely on foster homes, so that our dogs can experience family life right upon rescue.

November is Adopt a Senior Pet Month!

We don't usually take in senior cats, but when a friend of our program moved into assisted living, we happily said yes to helping her beloved girl. Sunshine is 8 years old and has had one loving home in her life. We'd love to send her into her retirement home in time for the holidays!

We are excited to introduce y'all to our newest intake, an 8-year-old female named Sunshine! While we don't typically take in adult cats, we're happy to help when emergent situations arise. Sunshine's owner had to go into assisted living, meaning Sunshine needed a safe place to land. Luckily, this sweetheart is decompressing in a foster home with us and settling in nicely!
