Dr. Smith will not be in the office Friday July 14 th through Monday July 17th. She will return on Tuesday 7/8.

We will be open modified hours for boarding, day boarding, medication pickups and scheduling. Our hours will be as follows.

Friday 7/14: 8:30 am to 12:30 am and 3:00 to 5:00 pm
Saturday 7/15: Boarder drop off by pre-arrangement only
Sunday 7/16: Board drop off and pick up 5:00pm to 5:30 pm
Monday 7/17: 8:30am to 12:30 pm and 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm

Thanksgiving 2022 Hours

The office will be closed from Thursday 11/24 through Sunday 11/27. We will have limited hours for boarding drop off and pick up on Friday 11/25. Medications may be picked up at that time only if they were called in ahead of time. Normal hours will resume Monday 11/28. Please note the hours below are for boarding drop off and pick up only. We will have doctor’s appointment available (sick/medical only) by appointment the morning of Wednesday 11/23. No vaccines, toenail trims or routine a**l gland expressions will be done during these hours.

Wednesday 11/23: 8:30a to 11:30a and 5:00p to 5:30p (limited doctor’s appointments in morning)

OUT OF THE OFFICE
Dr. Smith will be out of the office starting Wednesday 9/8 and returning Monday 9/12. There will be no doctors’ hours during that time.
We will have limited hours for boarding, day boarding and medication pickups. Medications MUST be called in ahead of time. Staff will be monitoring texts and voicemails on Thursday and Friday.

Dr. Smith will be out of town July 13 through July 17. There will be no doctor’s hours available. The office will be open on a modified schedule for boarding, day care, medication pick up and scheduling.
In case of emergency contact Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital at 330-666-0018. For non-urgent medical issues (itching, ears, simple diarrhea), you can leave a voice mail and the staff will follow up.
Modified boarding hours are:

Wednesday 7/13: 5:00pm to 5:30 pm
Thursday 7/14: 8:30am to 11:30am and 4:30pm to 6:30pm.
Friday 7/15: 8:30am to 11:30am and 3:30pm to 5:30pm
Saturday 7/16: Boarder drop off and pick up at 9:30 am or 4:30 pm
Sunday 7/17: Boarder drop off and pick up 5:00 pm to 5:30 pm.

We had a good run but Covid has hit the office. We have had to cancel appointments for Monday (1/10 ) and Tuesday (1/11). The office is open for boarding and medication pick ups. We are following all current guidelines and offer outdoor pick up for anyone who does not want to come inside. We will attempt to facilitate care of minor medical issues via phone. We are hopeful we will be back to seeing appointments Thursday. Thanks as always for your support and understanding.

The office will be closed Wednesday (11/24) through Sunday (11/28) except for limited boarding hours. We will re-open Monday (11/29) at 8:30 am.

While the office will not be open, staff members will be here on a regular basis to take care of our boarders and provide them with a level of attention they are used to.

As always Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital will be available for emergent issues. Their number is 330-666-2976.

Dr. Smith will be out of town June 16 through June 20th. The office hours will be as follows:

Saturday 6/19/2021 9:00 am to 10:30 am.

Unfortunately, we will not have doctor coverage during this time. As always Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital is available for any emergencies. If your pet is having a non-emergent medical issue please call as we will try and facilitate care. If you call and the office Is closed, please leave a detailed voicemail or text as we will be checking messages. We will also be able to refill medications.
Dr. Smith will be available for telemedicine via the Medici app (as her schedule allows) for current patients. Please note even if she is marked as “unavailable” you can send a message. She will see it the next time she is available. Please note that Medici is a human platform so they do ask for your personal information. We do not have access to it. There is a 25 $ fee for this service. The link is attached below along with our activation code.
Daycare will function as normal Thursday and Friday. Afternoon pick up will be available. Also, afternoon drops offs for boarding will be available by pre-arrangement with the staff.

We appreciate your patience and compliance with our protocols over the last year. Our continued goal is to stay open, stay healthy and keep taking care of our patients.
We will continue to wear our masks for a while. We prefer but will not require that you wear a mask.
If you feel comfortable coming in and waiting with other people, please do so. If you are not comfortable with this, please call on arrival and we will continue to direct you into the building when appropriate. We may choose to limit the amount of people in the waiting room. Over the last year, not having all our patients and owners crowded into the waiting room has cut down on some of the chaos.
From this point forward, calling or texting when you arrive and waiting in the car until we are ready for you is an option. We will continue outside pick up for medications for anyone who requests it. Checking out in the exam rooms will also be continued long-term.
