Welcome our 3 newest rescues! These Mountain Dew boys are German Shepherd and Lab / Pointer mixes. At just 9 weeks old, these babies are already over 10 lbs. These will be large dogs full grown.

6 weeks ago today we picked up two strays at 50% of their healthy body weight.

Bailey is now a wonderful 24 lbs and Flare is now 26 pounds. They have come such a long way and we're so happy to now find them their forever homes. Both are approximately a year old, sweet, affectionate, and friendly.

Update: Birdie and Rue Adopted

Our little girls will also be PetSmart today! These sisters came in from a home with over 20+ dogs. They are friendly and playful but can be a little timid at times. They are approximately 7 months old and around 10 lbs. We think Mom is a rat terrier / dachshund mix and were told Dad is about 25 lbs chocolate terrier mix. They will stay on the smaller side.

We received three Amazon boxes filled with puppy food, adult food, puppy pads, supplements, treats and collars. Thank you Jelena, Lilly, Skylar, Rini and two other donors (Amazon didn’t include their names). Our pups are grateful ♥️

Thank you to all who opened your family to one or more of our pups through adoption. We know our former foster fur babies are loved and truly home.

Thank you to everyone who donated. Through your generous support, we have helped many medical cases.

Thank you to all who continue to foster with us to help change their future for the better. A temporary home is the first step in finding their forever home. Fostering is a great way to serve your community and make a difference.

We welcomed Falcor (white) on 12/31/24 and we welcomed Royal (grey) and Charlotte (black and white) on 1/1/25. All will be available soon!

We received more boxes filled with donations today! Thank you Valerie and Renita! One of the boxes only had a packing slip - thank you to the generous donor who sent a big bag of food!

Amazon delivered nine packages filled with donations this week, thanks to the generosity of Susan, Kathy, Anna, Ashley, Julie, Justin, Krislee, Jennifer and Jami. Your contributions are transforming lives and empowering our rescue mission. We are beyond grateful.

We are grateful for the nearly 150 applications we received to adopt Ellie, Gingerbread, Sugar Cookie, Snicker Doodle, Shortbread and Truffle. This amazing response is a heartwarming reminder of the kindness and generosity of our community. We are thrilled to know there are so many compassionate people who want to adopt!

We have notified the adopters and have meets scheduled tomorrow.

If you applied and would be open to adopting another dog, please consider providing a forever home for one of our other rescued pups. They all have so much love to give. ♥️

In the last 36 hours we have taken in a mom with 4 puppies and a 6 month old puppy who were part of a hoarding case in central Louisiana, a 3 week old puppy dumped in southwest Louisiana and a blind, hairless chihuahua who is estimated to be 10 years old (part of a hoarding case in southwest Louisiana)
We are grateful for all of the volunteers who transported and are fostering to give these sweets souls a warm place for the holidays.

*We added wet dog food to our list since Glenda (our affectionate blind, hairless girl) only has ONE tooth.

Cash is a 6 month old chocolate lab. He is hoping to spend his first Christmas with his forever family.

Cash is a typical lab! He’s crazy, fun, hyper, eager to please and the most loyal friend you will ever find. Cash also loves a good nap on the sofa. He’s great with kids and other dogs.

Fully fenced yard
Super comfy sofa
