If your pets need medications please call them in as soon as possible so we can get those filled for you before we close tomorrow.

Veterinarians are trained to spot even the slightest signs of illness or disease in cats. Yearly appointments are crucial for early detection and providing the best possible care for your cat. Contact us to book an appointment for your cat. You don’t have to wait until Aug 22; we would love to see you any time! Remember, take your cat to the vet because they can’t take themselves.

Fun Fact Friday!

Did you know that dogs and cats can develop bladder stones? Urine pH (level of acidity), the presence of certain proteins in the urine, and the urine concentration can influence stone formation. Diet can sometimes change the pH of the urinary environment, predisposing dogs and cats to crystal formation. Crystals may form due to previous urinary disease, or even secondary to certain metabolic diseases.

Roux presented with a history of recurrent UTIs. After taking abdominal x-rays, we diagnosed her with multiple bladder stones. We performed surgery, and over 50 bladder stones of various sizes were removed! She has recovered beautifully, and is doing great since her surgery. She is now on a special diet in the hopes of preventing her from developing any more bladder stones.
