KREWE OF MUTTS is 1 DAY AWAY!!! Here's our Parade Day Schedule. Come with an appetite because we'll have plenty of food trucks, a coffee truck, an alcohol station with specialty cocktails, beer & seltzers, and snack vendors! Check out our past posts for the parade map so you can find a spot to catch some throws! Come meet our adoptable dogs at the CAAWS PR Tent in Galvez Plaza (grassy area by stage)! If you want to register to walk your dog in the parade, be in the costume contest, or purchase a parade shirt, visit the CAAWS Registration Tent in Town Square. You must register for the contest by 11:45 a.m. and to walk in the parade by 1:30 p.m. Shirts will be available for purchase until 4 p.m. when the party shuts down.

Don't miss Baton Rouge BeignYAYS and Mystic Vixens dance in the parade! We'll also have music at the Galvez Plaza Stage all day by Dj Mikelarry followed by a live performance from Petty Betty LIVE during the After Pawty! Scotty Mac from Eagle 98.1 will emcee the costume contest with Liz Koh WAFB and Meteorologist Ashley Renee serving as contest judges.

🟣🟢🟡 Here’s the CAAWS Mystic Krewe of Mutts Parade Route! It’s Sunday, Feb. 16, at 2 p.m.! Bark in the Park starts at 10 a.m. with DJ Mike Larry playing music throughout the day while you check out local vendors. BRPD K9 Demo at 11, followed by Dog Costume Contest at noon! Parade rolls at 2 p.m., but stick around because Petty Betty LIVE will perform from 3-4 p.m. on the Galvez Plaza stage!

Layla and Ruby are 8 month old shih tzu mixes! They are sweet as can be and soooo cute 🥰 they are not pair bonded and can be adopted separately or together.

Come visit us TOMORROW at CAAWS! We are open to the public for dog AND cat adoptions! 🐶🐱
