O.K., It's beginning to feel a little Fall-ish. School is back in session, football has started, and the air is less humid with a nice breeze!! I don't know about you, but living in the Deep South, those things get me excited after our long, hot summers.

If you are thinking about getting your puppy/dog trained, I've got great news. I'm starting a new Beginner/Intermediate Class on Wednesday, Sept 24th from 6:15 - 7:45 p.m. This is a 5 week course (one night a week) and we meet at the La State Archives off of Essen, near Jefferson Hwy and I-12. What a great group of dogs and owners who graduated from Diamond in the Ruff Dog Obedience Training!!! They were so much fun to work with and did a fantastic job training their pups. I'm so very proud of all of you. What a difference from the first week to the last. Congratulations on a job well done!!

The new dog obedience class that was supposed to start last night had to be postponed due the storms in the area. So, if you'd like to get into this class, you still can. The new class will be starting this coming Tuesday, August 26th from 6:15 - 7:45 p.m. My group lessons are done at the La State Archives building on Essen Lane near I-12. It's a 5-Week Course, once a week, and the cost is $225 for the entire 5 weeks (you just pay at the first class). There is a lifetime guarantee on my group classes, so you are welcome to come back for a refresher at no additional charge! :)

Big Congrats to my new group of graduates from Diamond in the Ruff Dog Obedience Training!!! These guys were awesome!! It's great watching the transformation from the first week to the fifth. In such a short period of time, dogs that were barking, jumping up on people, pulling on the leash, nipping and biting....became well-mannered and obedient to their owners. Great job everyone!!

I absolutely love working with owners and their dogs to teach them how much better life can be with a dog that respects and looks up to their "new and improved" Pack Leader!! It makes a dog much more relaxed and happier when they can trust that you have everything that concerns them under control. This allows them to become calm and obedient.

Here's a Huge Shout-out to my new group of graduates from Diamond in the Ruff Dog Obedience Training!! This was a wonderful group of dogs & owners and they did a great job of learning their roles in the pecking order. I love watching the owners becoming their dog's calm, confident Pack Leader - which creates a much calmer, obedient and happier pet.
