My next Beginner/Intermediate Class will start Tuesday, Sept 17th from 6:15 - 7:45 p.m.

My next Advanced Class will start Thursday, Oct. 10th from 6:15 - 7:30 p.m. (This is for anyone who successfully completed my Beginner/Intermediate Class.)

Well, just look at the awesome group of graduates from Diamond in the Ruff Dog Obedience Training!! I was so proud of these owners and their dogs, and how far they came during the 5 week course. It was amazing to watch the transformation!! You guys rock!! Please keep up the good job and I hope to see all of you again either coming back as a refresher - or in my Advanced Class starting in October.

Big Congrats to my recent group of graduates from Diamond in the Ruff Dog Obedience Training!! You guys were awesome!! (Unfortunately, due to the holidays, half the class was out, but they'll graduate with my Tuesday Class).

I'm so proud of the amazing progress you've made over the last several weeks with your pups. Please keep being the BEST Pack Leader you can be, so your dog has a Boss to respect and follow. This allows them to be calm, obedient dogs because they know you can control everything....including their reactions to those things!!

WOW!!! I'm so very proud of these Graduate students and their owners from my Advanced Dog Obedience Class!! These guys worked hard and were so dedicated. A huge CONGRATULATIONS to them for getting their PhD from Diamond in the Ruff Dog Obedience Training!!!

Some of the commands that were required were:
Off Leash Heeling (with changing directions and paces), Out of Sight Down Stays with me walking around AND stepping over the dogs, Emergency Down (with owners 40-60 ft away), Off Leash Heeling Meet & Greet, Back Up, Off Leash Leave It Command, Sit Stay (with owners 40-60 ft away) with a Recall (one dog at a time), and a Drop on Recall.

You should be extremely proud of yourselves and your pups with the advanced commands they learned in such a short period of time.

Calling All Dog Owners: The class that was supposed to start on Wednesday, May 29th had to be postponed due to storms in the area. (We can get out of the rain, but when it's thundering and lightning, many dogs become extremely nervous - even when inside.)

Soooooo.....my next Beginner/Intermediate Class is starting this coming Wednesday, June 5th from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. and held at the La State Archives (off of Essen).

Kudos to another great group of dogs and their owners graduating from Diamond in the Ruff Dog Obedience Training!! What a fun bunch to work with! Several were missing due to the bad weather, but we were fine in the covered garage and the dogs did beautifully. I'm so very proud of this group!!

Check out these dogs in my Advanced Class doing a Down Stay right next to each other, while the owners are 30-50 feet away from them. Owners are practicing the Out-of-Sight Down Stay. I just love the patience, control, focus and loyalty of these dogs!!! Way to go dog owners!! I'm so proud of you!!

WooooHoooo!! Here's another great group of dog owners and their dogs graduating from Diamond in the Ruff Dog Obedience Training!!! This was such a fun group and I'm so proud of the time and effort you put into making sure your dog was trained!! What a HUGE improvement from Week 1 to Week 5. Kudos to all of you.

In partnership with LSU School of Veterinary Medicine and Petco Love we are providing a FREE dog & cat vaccine clinic at the Leo Butler Community Center this Saturday, April 20th from 8am-11am. Bring your dog or cat by!

Please note: your dog/cat must be present to receive their vaccine.
Dogs must be leashed and cats in a carrier.
