Our Pets For Life Program aims to help keep owners and their pets together. With summer upon us, we have a community need for outdoor dog houses to help provide safety, shelter, and shade. Do you have a dog house to donate? Or want to make a donation of purchased dog houses? Drop them off at the shelter and they will be distributed through Pets for Life to community members in need!

We're open Tuesday-Saturday 10am-6pm and Sunday 10am-3pm and take donations of items anytime!

We will open at 1 today, Tuesday June 4th. As always, thank you all for your patience with us while we navigate a new adventure which will cause some changes in our hours in the next few months. We promise that it will all be worth it, and we can’t wait for the end result. Get ready Mid City… working on big things coming your way!

We're expanding our "Date-A-Dog" program to include overnight sleepovers! 🐾😴

Many of our volunteers who participate in "Date-A-Dog" wish they could take them just for a night! So, starting this month a limited number of dogs at our shelter (including Rolo in our graphic) will be available for this new program! Your sleepover will include a doggie overnight bag with food, treats, bowls, leash, collar and everything else needed for your sleepover pup's evening! In the morning, just bring the dog and their overnight bag back to CAA!

✨Tonight✨ is Craft for a Cause at DIY Disco benefitting Companion Animal Alliance in honor of May being National Pet Month! DIY Disco will be launching a new happy hour craft: pet jewelry!

Tickets for this event will be $45, $25 of which goes directly to CAA! Tickets include 2 cocktails or mocktails plus everything you need to make your pet jewelry. Sizing recommendations will be provided based on your animal’s weight; however, it’s still a great idea to either measure your pet’s neck beforehand or bring their collar for reference.

Please note that while the pet jewelry will be paw-sitively adorable, it is not a functional collar but a decorative accessory!

You can walk in our parade, too! Register at the CAAWS tent on Sunday no later than 1:30. The parade rolls at 2 sharp.
