Today we celebrate the graduation of 110 students as they fulfill their lifelong goal of becoming veterinarians, but the moment is bittersweet as we pause to remember Giselle Doucet, whose life was tragically lost this week along with her father, Dr. Lucius Doucet, and her brother, Jean-Luc Doucet. Giselle represented the very best of the Class of 2024, and her spirit will always be present as they make the world a better place for animals and people.

We will need to be ready to make strategic funding decisions to help position ourselves for a successful legislative session for the veterinary community.
