Several of our long term pack members are(or are about to be) due for their yearly vet checks and vaccines! These annual exams are crucial to keeping everyone safe, healthy, and ready to find forever homes! Between vet exams, food, monthly meds, and travel for events rescue can get quite pricey, we couldn't do it without the help of our generous donors and community ❤️

Adopt Green Bean! 🫛💚
I spent all day Saturday with this good boy and here's what I learned.
🦴He's a sweetheart and loves attention and pets
🐶He's an athlete! He's a tall, lean, active young man
🐾He's excitable, GB will match your energy and celebrate absolutely anything with you
🦴He has a full personality and won't hesitate to voice his opinions to you with an eye roll, sigh, yip, or bark (but in a chill silly way not annoyingly lol)
🐶He is beautifully crate trained and won't scratch or whine inside
🐾He is dog friendly and greeted politely (we always encourage a meet and greet before taking a pet home, even if they've always been friendly)

One year ago today I brought home the sweetest little puppy. She had what seemed like every type of worm a puppy could have, she was skinny, and unsure of the world around her. She slept in my bathroom for a while and went everywhere with me, for weeks I carried her around because she still needed vaccines. Now I couldn't carry her if I wanted to but that's okay. She may have quadrupled in size but she is still just as goofy and loving as the day I brought her home, cheers to a year of laughs and love thanks to this big baby. Happy Gotcha Day Lydia 🥳🖤

It was an absolute honor to watch you grow up into such a well rounded loving dog I will never forget you chunky monkey, there will always be a space here for you but I pray you will never need it. Happy tails sweet boy I love you.

Meet Monte!

He's a hyper, sweet, loyal boy who just wants a family to love.
He was rescued from a city shelter EU list but has found himself in boarding instead of a home 😕 He has been working on his social skills and would do great in a home with female dogs to play with.

Everyone please join me in celebrating the adoption of Zoey and Scrappy 🥳
We drove 4.5 hours one way to make this happen. Some of you may think that's a crazy thing to do for some dogs but when you find a home for two of the sweetest souls in the world that are statistically likely to remain overlooked for the rest of their lives YOU MAKE IT HAPPEN.
Zoey spent roughly 2 years in boarding followed by 1 year in rescue boarding waiting to be given a chance. That is 1,095 days of longing for a forever home. There was absolutely no way we were going to miss this opportunity. Happy tails my sweet girl you deserve the world.

"Ooh! You have that just-rolled-out-of-bed smell." Have you ever seen the bear in the big blue house?

Everyone please welcome Cowboy, the first official Time is Precious cat. Cowboy was turned out by his family and decided that this would be the next best place to crash. My mom is allergic to cats so we have been feeding him outside hoping they would eventually let him come home but they are not claiming him. He wants to be indoors so bad and will often rush in while we unload groceries and he cries at the door when it rains. He keeps coming back to the house with new wounds and his tummy is very round. He has a vet appointment Nov 20th that will run us roughly $175 for his neuter, vaccines, and deworming. All he needs now is a foster for post-op or a family to love him forever.

ONE YEAR AGO Oct. 7th 2023 I brought home sweet River. 365 days of missing out on the love of a forever family. An entire year of living in a rescue and watching her friends get adopted. 8,760 hours of waiting patiently for someone to choose her. River is now roughly a year and a half old, she was born a stray and picked up at about 6 months old covered in a rash. She was hungry and itchy and yet still full of love to give. She loves to play and she loves a good snuggle. She is no longer red and bumpy, she is no longer hungry, she is vaccinated, she is spayed, she is ready to go home.
