PSA: When someone tags a rescue in a post asking for help it is FOR THE POSTER TO REACH OUT TO THEM! Rescues are entirely too busy to monitor every single comment they're tagged in and usually have an intake email/process/form you'll find on their page or in their automated messenger reply.

It's the day after Christmas you know what that means... CLEARANCE! If you happen to be out and about and think of us we would greatly appreciate any discounted holiday pet items. Liberty Walmart has the fleece blankets for $2.50 and some Christmas toys, beds and treats that should also be discounted. I also got an email from TSC saying their Christmas would be discounted. You can drop off donations directly with me in Batson or at our tractor supply market this Saturday! Neither of those options work? Message us!

Pictured is all the dogs that didn't make it off the available list before the holidays 😔 also featured Little Girl and her puppy they are still looking for a more capable rescue or family to take her in but she's heavy on my heart and mind and I'm so sad we couldn't get them a Christmas miracle.

Update 12/11/24- I have added a photo of baby and more of momma "little girl" as the workers have been calling her.
🩺 I showed her picture to my vet and he THINKS it is demodex mange which is non contagious coupled with a skin infection from her scratching the scabs. We got her some medicine that is safe for her while nursing. We have not been able to examine her leg but it looks to be a poorly healed break or maybe a current fracture based on the swelling still present but she still puts weight on it🩻
‼️A rescue has shown interest but she will need a commitment long term foster that's willing to give her meds and work on her skittishness

This is little girl. She has a bad skin infection and a limp. She had 4 puppies but only one is still alive. She's scared and impossible to get close to. We are willing to help trap but she needs a rescue with proper experience and facility/foster for a "feral" mother dog that needs medical care before we trap her.
She is at a construction yard in Channelview, Texas on Sheldon road. An employee has been feeding her and made a warm space for her and baby in the meantime.
‼️We can't afford the dogs currently in our care and it would be irresponsible of us to take her on, please share for a more capable rescue.

We officially have an account with Dowlen Road Veterinary Center that accepts call in donations! If you'd like to donate towards veterinary care for both; our new dogs and long term residents to help keep them healthy and ready to find forever homes we would really appreciate it(dogs are not allowed to attend in person events without spay/neuter and utd vaccines so these annual visits are incredibly important). Just call DRVC at (409) 860-4386 and ask to make a donation to Time is Precious Pet Rescue or Melanie Ross' account.

We are also out of dry food so I made an Amazon list that will ship directly to us. If you'd like to make a donation in person instead you can leave it with Zana's Treasure's during their business hours, bring it to one of our Beaumont or Liberty events, or message us to drop off in Batson and meet some of our dogs!
The Amazon list should allow you to purchase and send items/brands that are not listed as well.

Guess who's back!? Chunky man is back on the market for his furever family. 1 year old neutered lab mix, kid and dog friendly 50ish pounds.

Okay I give up. How do you give cats pills?! Cowboy needs metronidazole twice a day. We have wasted two pills so far trying to crush them up and put them in food. They're pretty decently sized, chalky, and probably taste awful! I'm not keen on using the piller stick thingy what do we do?! Video of the stubborn boy for tax.

Everyone please welcome Cowboy, the first official Time is Precious cat. Cowboy was turned out by his family and decided that this would be the next best place to crash. My mom is allergic to cats so we have been feeding him outside hoping they would eventually let him come home but they are not claiming him. He wants to be indoors so bad and will often rush in while we unload groceries and he cries at the door when it rains. He keeps coming back to the house with new wounds and his tummy is very round. He has a vet appointment Nov 20th that will run us roughly $175 for his neuter, vaccines, and deworming. All he needs now is a foster for post-op or a family to love him forever.

This silly girl is still seeking her forever family! She is 1 year old, spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. She does well with other dogs, cats, and kids! Please reach out to us if you'd like to welcome sweet Lydia into your family 🖤 #timeisprecious #adoptmepets #rescue
