We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. The Calhoun County Animal Center, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that was started in November 2004.

The shelter cats got a huge donation of toys and beds and they are having so much fun!!!

****UPDATE****ADOPTED**** This weeks 🚨Spotlight Sunday🚨 features “Salem”, a super friendly black kitty. He is about 2-4 years old and is up to date on vaccinations and neutered. Salem is blind in his left eye from an old injury. He has the sweetest personality and just wants constant love and attention! You are welcome to give us a call at 269-963-6582 to inquire about “Salem” or better yet, come down to the shelter Monday through Friday 11AM-6PM and come visit him in person! ****UPDATE****ADOPTED**** Hi! My name is Ruby! I am a goofy little girl with tons of playful energy! I love everyone I meet, including other dogs and cats! I am a short little Pittie girl with lots of love to give. I will play and play for hours, but I also love to cuddle and get lots of pets and belly scratches. I love to get out of my kennel to go on walks and do my zoomies!! Please come visit me! I love meeting new people! I can’t wait to find that special family who will love me forever!!
