Last weekend home owners found a 5-6 week old female eastern grey squirrel in their yard, crying and walking up to them, dehydrated and malnourished. They brought her in. It was apparent something had happened to mom and after a day or two she had braved her way down to seek help. They were told to please watch and listen for siblings and to call if they found any. The following day another call came, her brother had showed up mid day, very dehydrated and covered in fleas.

Here they are a couple days later, cleaned up, rehydrated, full bellies, and back together.

THIS is why when you can’t reunite with mom you ALWAYS make every effort to find them all, and this is why you NEVER, EVER separate siblings. ❤️❤️❤️

Poor poor Finn. He broke/ripped off a horn. It bled A LOT 😳. He wouldnt let anyone near his head to stop the bleeding and ooze. He is still shaking his head. He is fine and it finally stopped leaking . Geesh, this farm stuff 🙄 one adventure after another.

I spent half the night in the barn when the storm went through. We lost power and the barn was pitch black (usually a nite light and soft radio).
They were all screaming, i could hear them from the house so I bundled up and took a couple big fluffly rugs and blankets. I made a nest in a corner outside the stalls. Tito and Boo were out there with me
Tito curled up at my side after awhile and never moved. He kept nudging me hard like they do with their Moms. It was kind if everything you would hope for and and see in that Hallmark movie. I love him even more. I knew you would totally “get” it. Not everybody does
