Lestat, the resident Poo Crew president is all smiles today. He is happy because we are once again heading back in time... kind of...

After a hefty discussion of the current state of the economy and the rising cost of about everything, Lestat and I are in agreement that we should try to be a part of the solution. So we decided to wind the clock back a few years on our one time cleanup rate.

Our one time cleanup rate is now back to $35 for the first 30 minutes of service. Woohoo!

Good evening all! With the blistering cold today and tomorrow the crew will be staying inside and pushing back our routes a day to accommodate.

So we will see you all a day later than normal! Better safe than sorry when we are out grabbing your pooch poop-cicles!

Every year we sit back on Thanksgiving and we reflect on everything that makes us thankful. Here at The Kalamazoo Poo Crew there isn't a single day that goes by where I don't think about how thankful I am for every single customer. Current, past, and present. As we are moving into our 13th year in operation 😲, none of this would have been possible without your continued support and that just blows me away.

Your business not only goes towards supporting a local, family owned small business, but it also supports other local families throughout the year! None of this goes unappreciated or is taken for granted.

Here at The Kalamazoo Poo Crew, we care about almost every living thing. If you recall, mosquitoes do not make that list.

So naturally when I almost stepped on this dragonfly drying out the morning moisture, I felt compelled to move him to a high point as to not have him become bug jelly.

Long may he thrive on those pesky mosquitoes!

There are some who may ask:

"How does Sir Lestat become covered with pillows as he lays on the couch?"

The simple answer is Dog Magic.

The more complicated answer is that Lestat engages in a series of dark, time consuming rituals, where space and time have no meaning, bending light in ways that our pitiful human brains cannot comprehend, only to bypass the laws of nature and conjure these spirit pillows from seemingly nowhere!...

Or something like that. I'm still not sure how he does this, but Mr. diva needs his pillows when he has his siesta.

(Side note: Lestat was recently neutered thus has to wear his Donut of Depression until his scar heals.)

Here at The Kalamazoo Poo Crew we care about all creatures! Well... most creatures... looking at you mosquitoes....

So when I narrowly avoided this box turtle, who was crossing a 55mph road just over the crest of a hill I had to stop and help him. He was acting a bit shy, but after a brief scolding and stern talking to about his perilous situation I escorted Mr. Grumpy Gus to the other side.

Please be aware of these slow pokes as they are crossing the road all over the place right now. They unfortunately don't have the benefit of that ooze that turned their cousins into teenage mutant ninja turtles and thusly lack their far superior speed and reflexes.

Nature is a fickle beast. One day there are powerful storms and tornadoes, the next there is a beautiful sunrise and rainbows.

As much as tornadoes have their own terrifying beauty, I much prefer the vision and calm of a colorful sky in the morning.
