Companion Cats Companion Cats is a 501(c)(3) non-profit run by volunteers that seek to find homes for unowned cats.

Once spayed our goal is to place them in an environment that best fits each cat. This method provides the most humane living situation possible. Both friendly and feral alike deserve the perfect forever home. If the cat is not very friendly but is homeless, perhaps this means being a “Barn Buddy” or being introduced into a controlled colony. If feral kittens are found, it might mean living in a vo

lunteer foster home where they can be socialized until old enough to be tested for FIV & FeLV, spayed, microchipped and vaccinated prior to adoption.

Is one of your goals for the new year finding somewhere to volunteer your time? If so you are in luck! We are accepting applications for dependable volunteers for all of our available weekday shifts (M, W, F 12-4).
What is required?
* Ability to commit to one or more shifts each week (or partial shift)
* Able to scoop litter boxes, sweep/mop, lift litter pans, follow verbal and written instructions
* Provide fresh food, water and bedding (as needed) throughout cages and building areas

😺 If you can’t commit to a cat long-term, fostering helps shelters (especially around the holidays) when they’re short-staffed!

Many thanks to the kind gentleman who recently donated $100 in cash to Companion Cats while he visited Pet Supplies Plus Battle Creek. We quickly spent it on Purina Cat Chow Complete to help keep kitty bellies full over the next few days.

Yo, Santa! It's your buddy, Tom! Can you believe the most wonderful time of the year is almost here? I'm practically jumping out of my fur with excitement! My kitty crew and I have been playing up a storm to keep us from counting down the minutes. But, as you know, all that activity is making us super hungry! If it's not too much trouble, could you drop off some extra-special Cat Chow Complete on your rounds? We're always up for a tasty treat! Oh, and could you do me a solid? I'm looking for my fur-ever family and would be grateful if you could spread the word. I'm a total sweetheart with a ton of love to give!

Hi Santa! Some of my friends have been sending you letters, so I thought I would see if you could make my Christmas wishes come true too! I am about a year old and have been hanging with my friends at Companion Cats since I had my babies. I was a very young mommy and now that my kittens have found homes, I am hoping to find my forever home! In the meantime, if you could leave some cleaning supplies like paper towels, bleach, and disinfecting wipes in my stocking, that would be great. Some of my current roommates can be pretty messy!
