Such a wonderful event last night at the Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine. The Open House marked the official launch of MSU’s Theriogenology program. Puppywarmer donated a complete Pro Series System in celebration of Debbie’s Dad, Dr. Ed Foster, and his contributions to veterinary medicine, Rotary International, and to his community. UPDATE #2 New Phone system fully operational

UPDATE #1--Calls are coming in now, we are trying to figure out how we can take the virtual receptionist off during the day so you can do right to a live person.

We are in the process of switching over phone systems. At present, the 269-568-3450 number is not accepting calls. This should change relatively soon. We are monitoring the situation and will keep you updated.

A breeder had the last vial of semen from the first dog of her favorite breed. The semen was 20 years old. A Michigan breeder with four puppies born five days premature that aspirated and developed bacterial pneumonia ordered a Puppywarmer for pickup. Her vet recommend Puppywarmer. She messaged Puppywarmer to see if she could pickup the Puppywarmer system right away, on a Saturday, as she was worried about her puppies. We spoke on the phone and met at the plant 45 minutes later. An hour after putting the puppies in the incubator, the puppies that were losing weight started feeding vigorously. Younger that were paled and grey pinked back up. Let’s let the breeder’s words do the talking… “I love this setup” “They’re already more lively. Sure sleeping, but not limp and looking dead all the time.” “I will, but at the moment they are all eating AGAIN. Which is probably really good. Little tails are wagging!” “I can’t even begin to articulate the difference. This can’t have made THAT drastic of a difference in hours, just doesn’t seem possible but I have the proof right here. This is insane- in the best way! Pups all fed from momma. My biggest trouble child just bottle fed! She’s been the one of the 2 I couldn’t get to latch, had to tube feed. Not only did she bottle feed- she sucked down 23mLs like she had never eaten before. I was struggling to get her to take 15-16 by tube feeding before she’d start fighting hard. These nipples- the whole setup- the support. Phenomenal. Well done sir! Well done!” While it it is best to have the system available to puppies, breeders in Michigan, Indiana, Ohio and Illinois can be hours away from giving their puppies the treatment they need. In the United States, approximately 18% of newborn puppies die in the first three weeks of life, and the majority of the mortality occurs in the first three days of life. Puppywarmer has developed equipment that greatly reduces neonatal mortality rate.
