A breeder had the last vial of semen from the first dog of her favorite breed. The semen was 20 years old. At the end of August, Kegan Thomasma will be leaving Puppywarmer to start a new position with another company. We have known
about this for months. While we are very happy for Kegan, she is kind of a big deal to us—and we will miss her terribly. We will miss what she has done for the company, but, perhaps even more, miss the person we care about so deeply. If you enjoyed working with Kegan, please call 269-568-3450 and wish her well.

Kegan made us a better company. She is documenting her work processes so we will be able to manage without her.

Of course, If you are planning to call and place an order, Kegan is WAY WAY faster than Ken. You might want to call and make that happen, too.

A Michigan breeder with four puppies born five days premature that aspirated and developed bacterial pneumonia ordered a Puppywarmer for pickup. Her vet recommend Puppywarmer. She messaged Puppywarmer to see if she could pickup the Puppywarmer system right away, on a Saturday, as she was worried about her puppies. We spoke on the phone and met at the plant 45 minutes later.

An hour after putting the puppies in the incubator, the puppies that were losing weight started feeding vigorously. Younger that were paled and grey pinked back up.

My biggest trouble child just bottle fed! She’s been the one of the 2 I couldn’t get to latch, had to tube feed. Not only did she bottle feed- she sucked down 23mLs like she had never eaten before. I was struggling to get her to take 15-16 by tube feeding before she’d start fighting hard.

A sticker can save a life…

At the Houston World Series of Dog Shows, a customer told us a surprising story. They pad puppies in need of help. The consulted with Dr. Marthina (Marty) Greer—who recommended Puppywarmer products. When UPS arrived at their house, they weren’t home. The UPS driver came back, after his route to deliver their Puppywarmer system. He stated that he saw the sticker and was compelled to come back because it was important.

OK…we need to give a lot of credit to Marty Greer and the UPS driver— but the sticker had a role in it, too.

Like a good part of the Midwest, we have a bit of severe weather going on. Our employees will work from home. If it clears up (and is safe) this afternoon we will come in and get orders from last night and this morning shipped out. This is the most likely scenario. If the weather persists, we will ship the orders out on Wednesday.

They have been selling fast--but we just made quite a few more and we are fully stocked in every size, Were have, at times had trouble keeping them in stock. Particularly the small and large size. We have had such great feedback on the security, softness, and the refined hole size to even better control flow rate.

What an incredible response to the photo contest! We have over 100 photos to carefully review. We love them all. Stay tuned for an announcement of the winners and the live drawing. Some of these photo can also be used for instructive blogs and product pages. We worked out with one person that submitted after the contest was over to send two of the new threaded syringe feeding ni***es (available on our website now) in exchange for permission to use the photo. We will be contacting those that supplied photo that were not selected for the contest but would help is show customers educational content to make the same offer after the drawing.

I would like to take a moment to express my gratitude for Kegan Thomasma and Carly Holcomb. Incredibly capable, dedicated and caring employees.

Thankfully, both of my parents are still with us. Doctor appointments, emergencies and simply life require me to leave the facility,sometimes at a moments notice, to help and facilitate.

There is never a worry as I drive away because Carly and Kegan are two of the most capable people I have ever worked with. They are just as much Puppywarmer as I am. They make it easier to be who I need to be at this stage of life.

If you have called in to Puppywarmer—you have almost certainly spoken with Kegan. If you have purchased an incubator in the last year, almost certainly Carly has built it.

We were thrilled when Kegan and then Carly joined Puppywarmer. We knew they would help us be a better company. I am happy to report, as great as I thought they would be, I underestimated their abilities.

Family Friends Veterinary Hospital was the first animal hospital to use a Puppywarmer incubator system during a C-Section procedure. They have been an incredible brand ambassador for us. Family Friends also helped Elvis and Chaos throughout their lives and in some very challenging times.
