Good morning, everyone! ☀️ Just so you know the Whisker Mixer Bid for Barks event here at HSSCM is coming up in Friday, May 19th, 2023, from 6pm-8pm. It will be hosted here at the shelter (2500 Watkins Rd) and we would love to see everyone there! We will have a silent auction, catered food (from Barista Blues,) DJ playing music, wine and coffee pull, a photobooth, and drinks! The new year is in full swing, but the pandemic is still shaping our daily lives. Having a pet at home during the uncertain times can be great! But, what happens when your pet starts to develop separation anxiety once you go back to work full time? We see this problem a lot in dogs (and cats) and the COVID-19 pandemic seemed to have boosted the number of pets with separation anxiety.
