Carolyn Kohlenberger, MA, LMHC, LPC and Sarah Kohlenberger, MA are professional counselors who want to make the counseling experience safe, productive practical. A counselor's job is to assist clients in exploring their choices and finding new ways to cope with life's challenges. We are trained in mental health diagnosis and use a variety of treatments depending on the needs of our clients. One of our ways of helping clients is through the presence of therapy pets. Fred and Baylor have been participating in counseling for several years. They enjoy meeting new people as well as visits from old friends. We know that not everyone wants animals included in counseling and we respect our clients' wishes to include them or not. We believe the counseling environment is very important. That's why we're located in a vintage Battle Ground home that has been remodeled into offices, but still feels safe and comfortable.
